  1. The rodants are so bad that it is no fun wasting any of my time and brain cell on them any more.
  2. Apparently he was suspended for the Purdue game, deservedly so. Does anyone know if he still is and if so, how many more games? Was Oregon Ducks Receiver Traeshon Holden Suspended vs. Purdue Boilermakers? WWW.SI.COM It appears that the Oregon Ducks officially handled their internal punishment of wide receiver Traeshon Holden in Friday's 35-0 win over the Purdue Boilermakers
  3. Interesting graphics, but how is OBD the 2nd luckiest team in B1G? What's luck got to do with our success?! I guess 2nd one is trying to say that while Oregon sports fans are asleep, the Ducks caught fire and protect the fans from all the other failing teams? But why the military uniform? Weird is probably a kind description for that graphic, but I have to say that OBD gets very little respect in Portland TV stations. Even when we are No. 1 in the country, they still talk about the loser rodents almost as much as OBD.
  4. Wow they scheduled 13 games, albeit twice against WSU, LOL... But honestly not too bad - the only weak ones are Lafayette and Sam Houston, so they will go 2-11?
  5. I think the headline of "Forget 2025 season..." is a bit of a clickbait, but it certainly got my attention, LOL... Like most here, I also don't think it will be that dire. Our recruiting class for next year is strong and DL will no doubt pull more transfers to plug the experience hole. With Uncle Phil's deep pocket, I am sure we will be just fine. The only question is how committed he will be after we win the Natty this year?
  6. The only way this happens is if OBD beats Oregon Ducks! I think DL and team have learned that lesson in the past couple of years and doubt it will happen again, plus the Autzen crowd won't let them. The stupid losses last 2 years - at Rodents, at Puppies and in Vegas all happened away from home. The loss to Puppies at home 2 years ago was caused by Nix's injury.
  7. Just win out and we should be the highest ranked team. Wouldn't that be worth something?
  8. Dang we missed this game. Thought we got Sunday off coz Nix and Herbert weren't playing... Nice job, Mariota! See you next Sunday, hopefully.
  9. Agree 100%, not to mention making the 2 field goals still wouldn't have been enough to overcome the 10-point deficit. Blaming the loss on the kicker alone doesn't seem logical at all.
  10. Agree with everything in the article - we definitely deserve to be No. 1 right now and nobody else does. Each win from here on out will only solidify that, starting with this week against No. 20 team. Playing at Michigan is never a given. Winning the next two will definitely shut up the last 2 nay-sayers that didn't vote for us.
  11. As long as OBD is No. 1, I don't think they will schedule us on B1G network... Fingers crossed.
  12. Indiana probably won't lose until they play tOSU. So the winner of that game goes to B1G Championship, assuming tOSU survives PennSt?
  13. Yes, indeed. Hope he has a breakout game finally. Don't know about you, but it's been frustrating to watch his development...
  14. Don't QBs usually get an edge because they are leaders of the team? RBs have to be that much more special and BSU is playing at a lower league, so I think it will be tough for Jeanty to win against other QBs, DG included. It's fun, but way too premature to talk about Heisman now. When OBD wins B1G, that will be the time.
  15. Such a bummer that her final OBD season got Covid'ed. That's definitely one Natty that we would've won....
  16. You mean the rodents? or the team we just beat? To many dang osus...
  17. Well, I guess it's a fair change - the non-offending side (victim) shouldn't have to lose anything. So it makes sense that it's treated like an offside penalty. Since the rule change affects everyone, who knows if it may yet benefit OBD sometime this long season, as I see us as "tOSU" for many of our oppponents.
  18. Agree that OBD still has many challenging games to win. All I was saying is that on paper they are all winnable because they simply are not as talented as tOSU. But we all know how it goes in CFB or any sport for that matter - real in-game effort and execution > on-paper talent.
  19. Great analysis, Charles. I agree with everything except maybe the percentage of playbook that we still hold back. Against tOSU, OBD had to go all in and I think we did. DL even had to resort to the 12-men trick to win in the end. They are about the biggest and baddest team we will face all season, playoff included. I do hope that the coaches continue to tweak and come up with new ideas to sustain the long season and get us all the way. But let's start with rolling over the boiler makers as expected this Friday night!
  20. Just looked at the sidebar of the Trojanwire, ROFL... This may be hard to see, so just head over there yourself and check it out. 6 straight articles critical of Riley!
  21. MSN WWW.MSN.COM Interesting take from Jerry Allen on how the Ducks may now be more prepared for this game, after their near-win over Illinois last Saturday.
