Kickoff Time Announced Between No. 1 Oregon and Michigan
As long as OBD is No. 1, I don't think they will schedule us on B1G network... Fingers crossed.

Hoosiers Shuck Nebraska but Their QB is Out Indefinitely
Indiana probably won't lose until they play tOSU. So the winner of that game goes to B1G Championship, assuming tOSU survives PennSt?

No T-Ferg or Burch Tonight Vs. Purdue
Yes, indeed. Hope he has a breakout game finally. Don't know about you, but it's been frustrating to watch his development...

It's Gabriel or Jeanty for the Heisman
Don't QBs usually get an edge because they are leaders of the team? RBs have to be that much more special and BSU is playing at a lower league, so I think it will be tough for Jeanty to win against other QBs, DG included. It's fun, but way too premature to talk about Heisman now. When OBD wins B1G, that will be the time.

Sabrina Wins Game 3 With a 3 at the Buzzer!
Such a bummer that her final OBD season got Covid'ed. That's definitely one Natty that we would've won....

NCAA Closes the "Oregon Loophole", I Think Not.
Well, I guess it's a fair change - the non-offending side (victim) shouldn't have to lose anything. So it makes sense that it's treated like an offside penalty. Since the rule change affects everyone, who knows if it may yet benefit OBD sometime this long season, as I see us as "tOSU" for many of our oppponents.

Oregon’s Secret That Nobody Talks About…
Agree that OBD still has many challenging games to win. All I was saying is that on paper they are all winnable because they simply are not as talented as tOSU. But we all know how it goes in CFB or any sport for that matter - real in-game effort and execution > on-paper talent.

Oregon’s Secret That Nobody Talks About…
Great analysis, Charles. I agree with everything except maybe the percentage of playbook that we still hold back. Against tOSU, OBD had to go all in and I think we did. DL even had to resort to the 12-men trick to win in the end. They are about the biggest and baddest team we will face all season, playoff included. I do hope that the coaches continue to tweak and come up with new ideas to sustain the long season and get us all the way. But let's start with rolling over the boiler makers as expected this Friday night!

We Hired Lincoln Riley, You HIred Dan Who?
Just looked at the sidebar of the Trojanwire, ROFL...🤣 This may be hard to see, so just head over there yourself and check it out. 6 straight articles critical of Riley!

2024 Oregon - Purdue Pre-Game Reports, Analysis, Etc.
MSN WWW.MSN.COM Interesting take from Jerry Allen on how the Ducks may now be more prepared for this game, after their near-win over Illinois last Saturday.

Oregon Ducks Football: Gabriel’s Biggest Strength
DG got skills. The coaches just need to call plays to his strengths, like these long throws and QB runs. They also need to avoid calling plays that expose his weakness, namely height. So maybe no short throws near the goal line because it's harder to clear the tall D line players and can be challenging to see the whole field.

When Do You Call It A Day?
I have to think he is one main reason Utah isn't good this year. His stats were pretty meh and they don't have a decent backup. Whittingham is too loyal to Rising to see straight and plan for the future of the team. If Rising does come back for 8th season, Utah will be bad again because he won't last.

Oregon Football's Traeshon Holden Issues Apology for Spitting on Ohio State Player
DL should follow Chip's lead and bench Holden like Blount. We did get LaMike out of that decision and still went to Rose Bowl, so I am sure someone else will step up to finish the season for Holden.

Illinois Kickoff at 12:30 PM! Winning Gets You Better Start Times...
I think this is got to be the first time OBD game is on CBS during regular season, right? Same as NBC last Saturday. B1G is on every major network. Talk about the exposure! On the other hand, I guess it's a good thing the poor rodents got CW, where only a couple of hundred thousand viewers watch their pathetic performances. Again, the market does what the market does... 😎

This is a dangerous trap game. Hopefully we keep our head and deliver the blowout as expected!

This Intentional Penalty is Next Level Coaching
Actually I disagree. Without the timeout, we would have sacked their QB and ended the game there, right? So I guess it's a brilliant penalty since it worked in our favor. Quite a gamble, I would say. Hope DL really is that sneaky, LOL. Just a crazy ending to a classic battle. It really was anyone's game. Go Ducks!

AP: Shough's late TD pass lifts Louisville to a 24-20 win over Virginia
Yes, he is probably the most successful ex-Duck. Wonder what could've been had he stuck around OBD... Hope he makes it to the next level.

Too early to celebrate yet since they now want to review, of course!

Holy Crap, a New Set of Vultures Enters the NIL Zoo
It's like a payday loan. Fair game I guess, and just a matter of time before investors try to capitalize on this NIL craze. I wouldn't say it's necessarily bad. If you need the $ today, this can work out. Plus they bare some risk in case the kid flames out and doesn't perform down the road.

It’s Time for a Centralized Authority on Officiating
Makes sense, just like having one big league for the power-4 and another for G5, etc, with divisions. Basically NFL model is the way to go, now that athletes are paid like pros already...

Is it Time to Feel Sorry for Them Yet?
Again, this is another clear sign of the market speaking. We live in a market economy after all and college sports should reflect that. The rodents draw small audiences and that's exactly what they deserve. They are mediocre and playing an even more inferior opponent. What else do you expect?
