  1. Josh, I whole heartly agree with 1 and 3. I hadn't thought about 2 until your article. I think a big key to 2 is an improved D that isn't a 3rd down nightmare, which I think we now have, so I'll also agree with you on this one also. It's good to know that at this point in the season we're undefeated. Hopefully that lasts through week 7/8 and beyond.
  2. I think that has been released. And, previously it was limited to U of O stores, not the state.
  3. With a TD on a fumble where DBs got caught looking in the backfield (which I can't blame them) and KO return. How many TOs did sc force, a lot less than last year's average.
  4. 13 - 1, losing a semi-final. Too old to calculate the rest of the stats.
  5. Definition of small mindedness = Dwight James "I was a Heisman voter until a year or two ago and I must say, Oregon's whole billboard thing is obviously just a silly stunt with no impact... It used to feel as if the Ducks were cutting edge. Big waste of money." If you as a former journalist (loosest use of the term) to not think this type of publicity is: 1) good 2) even if bad = good 3) not cutting edge (just like our uniforms and helmets for the last couple of decades) so I guess he only watches ohio state, michigan and penn state games then we are glad you no longer vote. But thanks for your credibility informing us that don't even know when you stopped voting for the Heisman.
  6. "When in reality it is about brand-building, exposure and especially recruiting." Wrong, it's about East Coast Media votes, just as: 2015 McCaffery breaks single season all purpose yards 3,864 with 15 TDs, and loses to Henry with 2210 all purpose yards, 28 TDs. Sorry, an NCAA record trumps 28 TDs (unless, see below). And, 2009 Gerhart leads the nation in rushing yds (1871) and TDs = 28 ??? look familiar? Winner, Ingram 1542 & 17 . . HMMMM
  7. What A VERY FEW Duck students were chanting.
  8. Hopefully she will do for sc what Emmert did for the NCAA!
  9. Well, he can set his sights a little lower and "work it out" in the Mountain West (if they will have him)!
  10. I just hope George got a kiss first! Article is right here... “But this was something that we had to do. And this was something that the board and our key stakeholders encouraged. I’m sorry that my gain is your loss,” Yormark said. “We had a very collegial conversation. George was fantastic, and I’ll be seeing him again in a couple of weeks at some industry meetings.” Good grief...
  11. No.s 4, 13 &51 Three Ducks land on The Athletic's 'Freaks List' for 2023 247SPORTS.COM Tuesday morning brought cheer amongst the college football crowd as Bruce Feldman of The Athletic dropped his "freaks" list, recognizing the game's top 101 athletes. Three Ducks made the... Sounds good to me.
  12. He still has lots of eligibility left and the Bruins will be in ruins come '24
  13. Sad to see it go, glad to have been able to visit it. Just like our Ducks, onward and upward.
  14. It was a facebook post that I screen shotted.
  15. Although it killed the Pac as we knew it, maybe they did us a favor by being inept.
  16. They are calling for us to go 20 - 7 in the first 3 years in the BIG, 74% winning percentage.
  17. 100% agree. I would think the Beavs would want to keep the fka CW, so they could try and get revenge/bragging rights. Good news Beavs, when you're in the MW you'll be at the top of the heap; bad news, you'll be shunned as a payday game for being too good.
  18. Good news, bad news . . . can't do any worse
