NCAA Will No Longer Deny Immediate Eligibility for Multi Transfers

Did the Oregon Ducks Fail Ty Thompson?
Yes, it was good strategy. But I think he only put it in play when DJ showed some warts a few games in.

Did the Oregon Ducks Fail Ty Thompson?
Was he given a fair shot. I think so, but I wasn't at practice. This last year when he saw action, he had more of a playbook to use. Two years ago, he didn't and didn't seem ready. Of course, he would have had to be VERY special to have beaten out a Heisman finalist. Possibly the same next year. In developing QB talent, the HS players coming in have to think they are the next big thing. If they don't have that attitude, then they weren't going to be. I guess in two years when Akili Smith Jr. arrives, we may see.

Pac 2 Blocks "Normal" Distribution to the Pac 12
Probably not viable: 1) Liabilities don't exceed assets. That is why there is a fight for control. 2) Who has the power to declare. This is main issue No, 1A, who is in charge. 3) Who gets excess after liabilities paid. This is main issue No, 1B.

Pac 2 Blocks "Normal" Distribution to the Pac 12
I agree with holding up the distribution. The demise of the Pac was a group effort, and until all the crap is ironed out, no need to give out money that may need to be repaid. This is a typical bifurcated divorce . . . status of Pac has been decided, now it is just a property settlement. As they say or ask, "why are divorces expensive? Because they are worth it!" And in the long run, it will be. Besides, once all the liabilities are taken care of, then the attorneys will get what is left so why worry.

Lanning and the Changing Face of Recruiting
Without Nix and without Penix, how different would DeDoer and Lanning be viewed? Generational QB play can mask a lot of warts. Time will tell.

Could JacQawn McRoy Follow Seaton To Colorado?
24/7 Is reporting “He told 247Sports director of recruiting Steve Wiltfong after that official visit to Boulder that the Ducks and the Buffs are neck-and-neck. If there were betting odds on prospects, I think McCroy to Colorado was probably plus money. Now it’s maybe shifting closer to even. No bueno if it were to happen.

The Pain of Being a Superfan
Thanks for your take, David. Since my grandkids are all older than your daughter, I probably have a shorter disappointment curve than you. This is probably due to the fact that I have lived through more Duck disappointments. Yes, there was so much hope for this team. I chatted with Charles that I thought this might be the best all-around team ever fielded. So, as you implied, not playing up to their potential sucked and hurt. My funk is still lingering but wasn't as deep as in the past. I did not watch any games Saturday either; I just checked my espn app periodically for scores. After a Duck loss, I take solace when other people's teams screw-up and lose so that they can feel what I am feeling. Now, I will be on edge until ewe dub loses. I can't even bring myself to think they might not.

Point Spreads for all Pac 12 Bowl Games
Dang, I like getting ewe dub +4.5. But after winning Charles' pick 'em pool (I'm still sorry about that), I would never put money on them to win a game. MSN WWW.MSN.COM I'm sure JJ will chime in. I like: Ducks - 15.5 AZ - 3.5, Ok without Gabriel Utah -7.5, that Barnes showcase game L'ville - 7.5, boy does Riley need this one. N.D. - 10.5, I bet that line moves up as OSU must find a QB UCLA -2.5, at least they have a QB Cal +2.5 as long as Slough isn't playing

Ducks Face the Liberty Flames on Jan. 1
If anyone is going and prices are jacked. What I have done in the past is book a "park, sleep and fly" room separately for each night I want to stay even if I am driving to the game. Seems there are rooms that are reserved for this type of booking and I found them up to 1/2 the price of staying one or two nights. Go Ducks (of the future).
