  1. Dana Altman opens up on decision to not play Kel'el Ware in Oregon's must-win game vs Utah 247SPORTS.COM In a make-or-break game for the Oregon Duck men's basketball program against the second-place Utah Utes, the program's second-highest-rated prospect to ever play for Oregon
  2. I'm looking for the fine print in regard to the enforcement protocols being in place by the end of the century.
  3. Plus, USC coach Lincoln Riley openly admitted the Trojans lost out on recruits this cycle because of NIL. Note he didn't say improper NIL usage. Remember on your next visit to SoCal it will be a BYOK trip (bring your own Kleenex) as I'm hearing some 17Mil pad is hoarding/using it all.
  4. 2/13/1970 vs Cal who was ranked and featured 2 Parade AA’s, Ansley Truitt C & Phil Chenier G. Cal was ranked; us, not so. Final 98 - 91. It was after this game that the University called in earthquake inspectors due to the first time the scoreboard shook. From then on it was an every game contest to get it to shake and was even used as a recruiting tool when hosting recruits. 2/20/1971 vs UCLA. L 74-67, tight game throughout. During warmups, Sidney Wicks ran sprints and just glared at the student section when he got to that end. Students stood up and screamed at him. He only ran 1 sprint! At the opening tip, the crowd was so loud the refs were ready to throw a technical for delay of game because the Ducks couldn’t get introduced over the noise. Late in the tight game Henry Bibby Sr. stole the ball and went the entire court for a layup and ended up in the bleachers when Stan Love went up to block it, grabbed the rim and gave Bippy a foot in the back. Loved the top tier, I think my knees just stopped aching last week from being pressed up against the seat in front.
  5. Want ad in Miami Herald "Looking for Woody Hayes clone, no job security, but a golden parachute awaits."
  6. Oregon lands Ole Miss transfer safety Tysheem Johnson 247SPORTS.COM Oregon has landed another member to its transfer portal class, as former Ole Miss safety Tysheem Johnson committed to the Ducks on Wednesday afternoon.#SCODUCKS????????
  7. Don't forget Larry, Curly, Moe, Dopey & Goofy.
  8. One would not think so except near home and home to Under Armour. I bet they would love to have him as a poster boy. I'm sure Oregon is paying attention to the brass that Maryland had/has after him. Go Ducks.
  9. Per Jon Wilner, two Pac 12 network execs were fired for failing to disclose overpayments by a media distribution partner to the networks that made the annual revenue appear more robust than it was. Apparently, it was $50 Mil in overpayments. Not sure when it has to be repaid.
  10. At least we/his suitors know where to start the bidding.
  11. Bronny James recruitment: Three finalists emerge as LeBron James' son narrows down college list, per report - CBSSports.com
  12. So it's ok they get the break in 2022 as admitted. Cotton Bowl scoreboard baby, and add in Utah x's 2, and get back to me.
  13. Oregon WR Isaah Crocker enters the transfer portal 247SPORTS.COM Oregon's wide receiver room takes another hit after the departure of Dont'e Thornton Jr., as Isaah Crocker has entered his name into the transfer portal on ____. Crocker,
  14. That would be a HUGH ouch. All the O-line recruits rave about Klemm.
  15. Yes, but Stetson has the hardware/crystalware we all covet.
  16. Charles, if you even can get away from your gambling sites long enough to visit some of these places, maybe you can write-off your trip since they are business partners.
  17. Stetson Bennett 2.0 works for me.
  18. Charles, have you become a Gen X or Z? "but simply knowing that the ‘Natty is that much more attainable helps this ol’ greybeard-age fan retain his passion for college football." Remember when a bowl game possibility helped that ol' greybeard retain his passion, or have the IPAs drowned out that memory? But I digress, the downside of the new 12 team format will cause any non-playoff year in the new Pac to be a disappointment as falling to the "participation bowl" will surely be a letdown.
  19. I agree. We need to see nothing but sweeps at home and on the road vs WA, Bay Area at OSU and at least splits with AZ and SoCal teams. Waiting to see if the glass is half full, half empty or broken.
  20. Someone please explain to me how AZ is only a 4 pt favorite.
  21. Some more smoke . . . Controversy swirls over $13 million NIL deal for Florida QB recruit Jaden Rashada WWW.MSN.COM Controversy is swirling over a $13 million NIL deal that was offered to — and later apparently reneged upon — a Florida quarterback recruit. G. Allan Taylor, who covers the Gators for The Athletic...
  22. Good article. I hope it comes to fruition. Based upon Lanning's gambles (not at Fishduck's favorite sites I'm told), had Nix not been injured, the ewe dub and tr(the real)OSU losses may have been wins and hurt the future development of DL. But we are a long way from being what I've seen in Georgia the last couple of years. But then again, Georgia was a makable FG away from watching Monday night on TV. So, maybe an expanded field with a greater chance of a stumble is what will really open up who wins the Natty.
  23. Report: QB Jaden Rashada had $13 million NIL deal from Florida fall apart WWW.MSN.COM If the Jaden Rashada situation isn’t proof of how much college football has become like the pros, then nothing is. Crazy numbers if true.
  24. Wants to play FB and run track . . . World's best track facility AND a TE position recently opened. Plus, last visit before signing day. Moon and stars?
