“I’m happy to have been exonerated, and I’m looking forward to a great season with the Ducks." So are we.

Sources Say: Big 10 Not Done Raiding the Pac-12
I guess we're stuck with this narrative until the media deal is signed. Personally, I'm going to lengthen my life by refusing to read this type of muck.

Tread lightly on this post. A similar one was locked due to comments getting off the rails into the political arena.

Possible 2023 CFB Rule Changes: Help Limit Injuries, Shorten Games
I also think that a team gets their challenge back if they successfully challenge the play. Why should you be punished for correcting the refs mistakes?

Kliavkoff Meeting With SMU Tomorrow
I think we are past, UNFORTUNATELY, looking out for the student in student-athlete. Therefore, a Texas foothold is a plus/must. Now those kids, they grow them big down there, can have games close to their families. This might help the WSUs and OSUs wherein instead of all games several connecting flights away, at least once a year they are home. I think Altman used this in BBall a while back wherein he always tried to have at least a non-conference game close to a recruit's family.

BREAKING: Adrian Klemm Leaves Ducks For New England Patriots
Time to go poaching AGAIN. Pretty sure DL already had a head start on names once Klemm was in the running as OC a couple of weeks ago.

Can Oregon Compete for National Championship in Year Two of Dan Lanning?
And that is why PACannibaliztion will be at an all-time high this year. Most teams, at least percentage wise in the top 25, and first conference eliminated from contention since the league can't shield the top from the top like SomE (C) league is able to do.

USC Spins Phantom Recruiting Victories Over Oregon...
Not so fast my friend, just the opposite . . . inflated head with plenty of room as the grey matter has been relegated to the other "end" of the torso.

Dan Lanning: What He's Learned at Oregon the Past Year
I disagree. With the expanded playoff, stay put. Also, as that sage prophet Bill Walton intoned, it is bad for the athlete (student-athlete went by the wayside long ago, not to mention NIL) in regard to travel and the requirements of academics.

USC Fans Are....a Little Salty Over Pleasant
I think TX & OK to SEC and UCLA and uscrybabies to the "BIG non-math majors" will help our SoCal and TX recruiting once they are entrenched in their soon to be middle of the road status.

NCAA Takes Another Shot at NIL Rule Violation Enforcement

NCAA Takes Another Shot at NIL Rule Violation Enforcement
Plus, USC coach Lincoln Riley openly admitted the Trojans lost out on recruits this cycle because of NIL. Note he didn't say improper NIL usage. Remember on your next visit to SoCal it will be a BYOK trip (bring your own Kleenex) as I'm hearing some 17Mil pad is hoarding/using it all.

Mac Court Memories: Oregon’s Original House of Hoops, Truly One of a Kind
2/13/1970 vs Cal who was ranked and featured 2 Parade AA’s, Ansley Truitt C & Phil Chenier G. Cal was ranked; us, not so. Final 98 - 91. It was after this game that the University called in earthquake inspectors due to the first time the scoreboard shook. From then on it was an every game contest to get it to shake and was even used as a recruiting tool when hosting recruits. 2/20/1971 vs UCLA. L 74-67, tight game throughout. During warmups, Sidney Wicks ran sprints and just glared at the student section when he got to that end. Students stood up and screamed at him. He only ran 1 sprint! At the opening tip, the crowd was so loud the refs were ready to throw a technical for delay of game because the Ducks couldn’t get introduced over the noise. Late in the tight game Henry Bibby Sr. stole the ball and went the entire court for a layup and ended up in the bleachers when Stan Love went up to block it, grabbed the rim and gave Bippy a foot in the back. Loved the top tier, I think my knees just stopped aching last week from being pressed up against the seat in front.
