  1. And Klemm continuing to bring in those soft handed (Josh Conerly) road grader types.
  2. Rece will come around when we are a 12 - 1 Pac 12 Champ with wins over top 25 teams in our last 4 games. I guess this is one of those rare times when we want to thank ewe dub . . . for backing in to the top 25 so we can add that win to our resume.
  3. First, I’d like to thank the Irish for taming a Tiger. And speaking of tigers, a thank you to the Duck slayer for doing the same to ‘Bama. The last time we saw Jayden he was the Devil’s advocate dashing our playoff hopes for ASU in 2019. Pac 12: Deja Vu, Ducks win with double style points, it is ewe dub after all. Beavs keeping winning to take ewe dub’s place in the top 25 after they are banished this week. UCLA keep winning until $c USC to stay unbeaten until losing Pac 12 Cship to us Utah’s only remaining loss be to us WSU to run their table Top 10: Thanks Georgia, now keep it going through the SEC Cship Indiana do what Northwestern couldn’t vs OSU (again, we can dream can’t we) Nebraska see above vs Michigan (again, we can dream can’t we part 2) Missouri play like you did against Georgia except finish it vs Tenn Texas, pull a Notre Dame and gig/hook’em Frogs Need the Hogs to tame those Tigers. Lane, be the third branch of the Saban tree to cut him down. Others: ACC is the new Pac 12, so we don’t need to follow them/worry about them crashing the playoff party any more. Illini, Boil the Makers Last Week’s wish list: Pac 12 [5 out of 6] Ducks win with style points ✔ Beavs over ewe dub, oops UCLA over ASU ✔ USC over Cal ✔ Utah over AZ ✔ WSU over Stanford since we barely beat WSU ✔ Top 10 [3 of 6] Georgia over Tenn as big as possible ✔ Northwestern over OSU (we can dream can’t we) Rutgers over Michigan (we can dream can’t we part 2) LSU over ‘Bama ✔ ND over Clemson ✔✔ should count double Tex Tech over TCU, winning 3/4's doesn’t count Others [2 of 4] North Carolina /Virginia (don’t care as long as NC makes it to ACC title game since they have the best chance of beating Clemson) ✔ Illinois over MSU Syracuse over Pitt, thanks to ND, no longer needed. Texas over K State ✔
  4. Let's hope DeBoer is Peterson 2.0: no major bowl wins, 0 - 2 when Oregon favored and 2-2 when ewe dub favored. Since we know it will be a while until they are favored again, us grey beards look forward to evening the series in 2033.
  5. Win out and we're in. Except if LSU wins out including the SEC CShip. They'd be the first 2 L power 5 Champ to make it along with a 1 loss Georgia, an undefeated Big 10 champ, and undefeated TCU. However, the LSU team I saw last night gets trucked by Georgia in the SEC CShip. So, run the table and get the rematch?
  6. I agree I think we would beat them. However, if they run the table, including winning the Big 12, they should be in = Power 5 undefeated champ. Just like if we run the table and win the Pac 12, we'll be ahead of Tenn even if they win the rest of their games.
  7. Pac 12: Ducks win with style points (Duh, rinse and repeat the rest of the season) Beavs over ewe dub UCLA over ASU USC over Cal Utah over AZ WSU over Stanford since we barely beat WSU Top 10: Georgia over Tenn as big as possible Northwestern over OSU (we can dream can’t we) Rutgers over Michigan (we can dream can’t we part 2) LSU over ‘Bama ND over Clemson Tex Tech over TCU Others: North Carolina /Virginia (don’t care as long as NC makes it to ACC title game since they have the best chance of beating Clemson) Illinois over MSU (they have the best chance of beating BIG East winner) Syracuse over Pitt (keep winning in case Clemson stumbles twice, we can dream can’t we part 3) Texas over K State (eliminate a 1 loss Big 12 champ)
  8. 59 - 10 Ducks 4 TOs 4 sacks 285 pyds
  9. I think Jon Wilner did a piece on the contractual obligations of ESPN, Fox and the Pac 12 Network in regard to showing teams. So, maybe this is Colorado's bone for the year.
  10. To me, Lanning rumors as well as Dillingham rumors are a bunch of NOISE and personally won't be wasting my time reading or listening to them. They are in my "life's too short" category. If, or when it happens, we move on . . . see Chip, Hef, Willie & Mari And we don't need no media deal to keep coaches, we have Phil et al. Did any previous coach move on because of money or lack of money for assistants? That would be a resounding NO!!!
  11. Per Jon Wilner, pay site: "What we do know is this: The regents have the authority to rescind the decision — and seemingly could do it without a vote or approval of the full board." Hopefully the Regents read Mr. Walton's "spot-on take".
  12. Why Oregon could be most interesting team in College Football Playoff race WWW.ESPN.COM After losing 49-3 to Georgia, Oregon was all but an afterthought. But since then, the Ducks have rallied behind Dan Lanning, so how might the CFP committee evaluate them?
  13. I think Chip will always get credit for a high-octane Oregon offense regardless of who is coaching it and what the nuances are, and I am fine with that.
  14. Looking to the future, my Cristobal (which thankfully is now in Miami) says no bonkers this year.
  15. I hope Bo doesn't get sued for getting his former coach fired.
  16. College football expert says Oregon ‘very much’ feels like an SEC program SATURDAYOUTWEST.COM How does Oregon compare to SEC programs from an experience standpoint? 247Sports' Josh Pate says the Ducks 'very much' feel like an SEC team.
  17. Oregon vs. Colorado: Ducks open as massive favorites in Boulder DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM The Ducks are massive favorites on the road against Colorado next week. It feels like a spot where they want to dominate the Buffaloes from start to finish.
  18. 56 - 17 Duck crew in a boat race 3 TO 5 sacks 285 passing yds
  19. That's right, and don't wake me.
  20. Over at the half, TT and JB both get reps in the second half.
  21. OSU & WSU, don't want Utah interfering with our recruiting. And Cal . . . take that ucla to your BIG basement.
  22. I did notice that early in the last drive we weren't using the whole clock, 15+ seconds left when snapped. I supposed that was a blend of bleeding the clock but keeping some tempo for momentum.
  23. Scroll down to see George K's response. Plus "Schools cannot provide free contract review services to athletes, unless it is open to the general student body." Well, that's an easy end-run, offer it to all students. How many non athlete-students are presented with contracts while a student?
