Report: 4-star Oregon RB Dante Dowdell to Take Unofficial Visit to Ole Miss
Ole Miss vs. Kentucky is going to be one of the best games of the week. I might worm my way into seeing that game if I had the chance.

Is Josh Conerly Jr. Ready and Should He Start?
I would like to see Faaope Laloulu come into the backfield. He used to play basketball and volleyball in HS, so he’s pretty athletic. He may also have good hands, so he might me a decent receiving option as a tackle eligible. If you though Stanfurd’s big TE’s were hard to cover, well….

Conference Realignment is Back in the Rumor Mill
With a 12 team playoff on the horizon I’m pretty much done with worrying about which conference the Ducks will be a member. However, if the B1G is going to snatch Pac 12 teams I would hope they get enough to make another division on the West Coast.

Miami Got Beat by..Middle Tennessee?
This is a very interesting read. One interesting quote I saw was “Canes are injured, slow, stiff, and depleted”. That sounds vaguely familiar. It describes the 2021 Oregon Ducks. One thing Miami hasn’t figured out that I personally have been keeping an eye on is the amount of injuries that they have. Remember how many season ending injuries Oregon had last year? Bennett, Flowe, Redd, Johnson III, Verdell to name a few. The writer has some clue because he thinks Mario is over-working them to build toughness. Their fans haven’t figured it out yet. I would expect to see more injuries as their season goes on. An off-season of "Cheap Thrills" WWW.STATEOFTHEU.COM The Miami Hurricanes had another hype-filled off-season, but it was just a few months of cheap thrills.

A Fun Post to Lighten Up Your Day
It’s even better when you realize that if Funa hadn’t snatched that ball it was going for big yardage. They had a nice wall of blockers in front of that play.

Best Question / Most Telling (Hilarious) Answer from MC Post Game Presser
I kind of figured that out when I saw that he took a $700K pay cut to take another job.

Would Oregon Fan Base Welcome Nix in 23?
He’s the only guy on the team who beat Herbert head to head. That’s got to count for something.

Miami Got Beat by..Middle Tennessee?
Miami has an off week and MC was undefeated at Oregon coming off of bye’s. They also got pretty lucky that they’re not playing this weekend because of Ian.

Would Oregon Fan Base Welcome Nix in 23?
Sure, but it depends on his draft stock. The good thing about NIL is a guy can make more as a College player than a late round draft pick or practice squad guy. It might actually pay more to stay another year and boost your draft stock. Especially since NFL contracts aren’t guaranteed.

Miami Got Beat by..Middle Tennessee?
Two interesting points about this game. First, MTSU lost their first game 44-7 to JMU which was a FCS team last year. Second, MTSU is 3-0 all time versus Miami.

FCS Team Wins 98-0
There is no value in playing a NAIA team when you’re at the FCS level. SFA was also still throwing TD passes well into the 2nd half. I get that it’s up to the losing team to stop them, but maybe run the ball every down to keep the clock running. 98-0: Stephen F. Austin nearly hits century mark in rout of overmatched NAIA opponent SPORTS.YAHOO.COM The Lumberjacks came a touchdown short of tying the FCS record for the most points in a single game.

Great Write-Up on Bo Nix
Good article. In Bo’s defense, he had 3 different OC’s in 3 years. One of them being Chad Morris who was the mastermind behind the play on this video. Bo also took a ton of sacks at Auburn. He’s much improved when he has time to throw.

Miami Got Beat by..Middle Tennessee?
I loved this little gem in the comments. It’s from the Little Giants movie for those who may not know what this guy is talking about. Also, I thought it was pretty cool that their mascot showed up to tailgate with them.

ESPN Recaps Missing Only For Duck Games?
They probably just assumed everybody watched the game since Oregon is so popular.

ESPN Recaps Missing Only For Duck Games?
They recapped them on the ESPN Morning show, but not in print. Probably because Fox carried their last 2 games.

Are You Aware of These Accomplishments from Today's Game?
Look at the offensive stat line. Hopefully, this will lead to more great players coming here to resurrect their careers. TVD from The U is probably looking to go elsewhere after yesterday’s disaster.

Who Else was Wrong About Chase Cota?
His performance was underwhelming at UCLA. However, his stats wouldn’t have been much better at Oregon because of MC’s offense.

Top 5 Takeaways from Oregon Ducks’ Comeback Win Over Wazzu
Great article. I especially liked this line. “Ward was cagey and elusive, managing to dodge, duck, dip, dive, dink and dunk all over them, zig-zagging through heavy traffic like a squirrel on the freeway.” Ward was amazing, but like most squirrels on the freeway, he eventually turned back into traffic when he appeared to be in the clear (at least they do that in my neck of the woods). His attempt to chase down Funa and tackle him was Brady-like.

Miami Got Beat by..Middle Tennessee?
I thought TVD would regress a little, but I didn’t think it would be this bad. Some NFL team is going to get a great deal on him. He’s a good QB, but MC killed his draft stock.
