People who are happy in their current situation don’t make public statements like this. It sounds like he’s sending a message to his current coaching staff.

Unfortunately, Oregon still has a reputation as a stepping stone school. Outsiders look at the coaches and say: “If they’re doing great at a place like Oregon then they will be twice as good at our school. Let’s throw a bunch of money at them and lure them away”.

They signed one safety and got one CB via transfer. They did a horrible job of bolstering their most glaring weakness.

Dickey because I think he’s a Week-1 starter. I’m also the most nervous about him because I feel like he could be gone in an instant.

I’ve been to Williams-Brice Stadium for a game. It’s a pretty awesome atmosphere. They also have really good facilities. USC just needed the right coach to get them back to at least where Spurrier had them. I think Beamer is that guy. Add in the fact that Columbia is a bigger city and I could see why he chose them. His parents might be happy until they have to deal with that post-game traffic as regular fans. If they thought a cross country flight was long just wait until they try to get back out to the interstate after a Gamecock home game.

I wish he had picked the Ducks, but I’m glad to see he repping Bojangles. They got some good chicken and the biscuits are always fresh.

TCU is down 31 at halftime. They’ve got Georgia right where they want them.

To be completely honest, I haven’t seen this much red in the Rose Bowl stands since the 2012 Rose Bowl. Badger fans sure do travel well.

I expected more enthusiasm from the Penn State fan base, but I guess they decided to stay home.

Funny story (not really) from last night. I was at a friend’s house for a NYE party and we were watching the game on his TV. OSU lines up for the winning FG and he rolls over and switches the channel to Ryan Clark’s Rockin Eve show. As we are yelling at him he says “the girls want to see the ball drop”. Needless to say, we saw the highlight of the missed FG about 10 minutes later.

Michigan is a one-dimensional running team. The Purple Kermits are forcing them into a downfield passing game.

I always thought these two guys were nut jobs, but at least they directed their anger at the refs which is completely acceptable. Especially in the Pac 12.

Actually, he acts like a guy who has quit drinking. He could probably use a gummy to smooth out the rough edges.
