Why is Bo Nix in for the second half? This screams unnecessary injury risk to me.

One of These Things is Not Like the Others
Although Josh Pate just posted a video 12 minutes ago. So I haven't watched it yet, but he's usually pretty good so I'll post the link here. https://youtu.be/syoLEL7iUcY?si=lxNa8fVbNi1hc8NT

One of These Things is Not Like the Others
There are a lot of people that are saying he's in their top few or so, alongside the likes of Mike Elko, Lane Kiffin, and Jeff Traylor of UTSA. Then there's him saying that he's in contract extension talks with UW, instead of emphatically stating that he's not going to leave UW. The most interesting I think leading candidate is actually Dabo Swinney. He seems tired of Clemson and when asked about ATM, he said: "I'm just focused on this job ... Always have been. Just trying to beat North Carolina. It must be November—that's all I can say." Very interesting reply. So I think it's going to be either DeBoer, Dabo, Kiffin, Elko, or Traylor.

One of These Things is Not Like the Others
Dan Lanning is awesome! In an interesting note, Kalen DeBoer confirmed that he's in contract extension talks with the University of Washington... he's posturing himself for a big payday if he doesn't leave for ATM... I think he'll leave. He knows when Michael Penix is gone that he no longer has a competitive QB and his long-term value will go down below what ATM would offer. It really comes down to then, in my opinion, if ATM wants DeBoer or Elko.

If I Were Lanning?
You know, if ATM gets Kalen DeBoer, maybe Jimmy Lake would be willing to go to the Huskies? Or... even better, why didn't ATM simply trade coaches? They could take Jimbo. Gosh, DeBoer leaving UW would be a dream scenario to see that meltdown in Seattle.

Coach Dan Lanning Named Among Leading Candidate for Texas A&M Job
Didn't we lose a recruiting battle for a 5-star last year to ATM? DJ Hicks, I think. How likely are we to get him in the transfer portal?

Oregon vs. USC GameDay Thread: Join Us!
That play that laid Bo out had to be designed for a receiving TD for Bo for better Heisman odds. I don't think that risk was worth the potential style reward.

Is it just me, or does Bo look a little bit limpy?

Stanford just forced a Rome Odunze fumble in the red zone. There's a chance that Stanford the leg lifters.

Can we see Ty Thompson on this final drive? Or Austin Novosad?

Thoughts On Today's Other Games
If USC loses to Cal, which I'm thinking they will, do y'all think there's any other win they could get on their schedule? They have the Ducks, Washington, & UCLA left on their schedule after Cal.

Thoughts On Today's Other Games
Oklahoma has been gifted points by the refs for a second week in a type that might lead to a second victory handed them by the refs. Last week, the refs called a clearly bogus PI against UCF right before halftime that negated an INT, resulting in Oklahoma getting 3 points and the eventual 2 point victory. This week, Oklahoma fumbled it in the red zone, but the refs called the play dead by forward progress during or maybe slightly after the fumble. Non-reviewable as a result. The next play, Oklahoma got a TD, 7 points that they probably shouldn't have had. I'm hoping for an Oklahoma loss as that would help the Ducks... but those calls were gift wrapped points in tight games.

Ducks win. 38-14 3 TO 7 sacks 321 yards passing. I might be overly optimistic but GO DUCKS!!!!

Washington vs Arizona St
Two games in a row handed to the Huskies on a silver platter by the refs. Gross.
-
Washington vs Arizona St
Are the Pac 12 refs just this incompetent, or are they trying to help the Huskies purposefully?
-
Washington vs Arizona St
I feel like the refs are trying to give the Huskies the game like they did against us... that was an incredibly blatant PI.
