Noah Whittington absolutely hit-sticking the poor Illinois defender who was in the wrong place has gone absolutely viral. One of the benefits of that is all of the camera angles that captured the play. What is incredible about this shot is that Whittington is actually looking right at the defender and adjusts his path to take on the defender and not try to spin or juke. A lot of the rumblings that I hear/read pertain to the fact that people "feel" Ohio State should be better. They have elite talent at multiple positions and the "feeling" is that should translate to a better product on the field. Elite talent is important, but injuries and playing together to gel are critical component (see OBD's first couple games). While the national pundits and Ohio State slobber-ers were heaping praise on the team at the beginning of the year, tOSU had not played anyone. Oregon happens and now I think there is some doubt that has crept into that locker room. This last week they played to the level of the competition. OBD has been rising above their competition and you are beginning to see the cracks in the walls in Columbus as they realize maybe, just maybe their poo stinks.
