  1. The season is over. We all collectively thudded back to the ground after believing that maybe we could hang with or even beat Indiana. My mind immediately jumped into the off-season mode and let me tell you, it is murky. First and foremost, does Dante stay? As a fan, I was hopeful that his announcement would come very quickly after the season ended, regardless of how it ended. I get it has been less that 24 hours, but this is serious stuff!! The traditional deadline to declare for the draft is January 14th. This creates a muddy situation as those potential targets in the transfer portal may elect to determine their landing spots before we hear from Dante. If we miss on a transfer, Brock Thomas is our most seasoned QB as a redshirt sophomore. Granted, this is all the musing of a fan who has no inside track into the workings of the program. My ultimate hope is that DL and staff have a transfer in their back pocket ready to offer if Dante leaves. Or, we could maybe see deja vu. Like when Darren Thomas left and we started this freshman kid.....can't recall his name. 😊. Maybe Akili Smith, Jr will be the next Mariota. I hate the unknown, I dislike waiting. If you see this message Mr. Lanning, help a fan out!!
  2. My Broncos are also still playing!!! Go get em Bo!!
  3. Season ticket holder and absolute fan! Sometimes it is just painful to watch bad football though, knowing what this team could do!!
  4. I will say that I recall a bowl game where a team came back from 35 down....oh wait. That was TCU coming back against Oregon....never mind. 😂😂😂😂
  5. Well folks, This has been a fun year. I'm gonna go do something else. If I miss the greatest comeback in history, I guess I do. Bring on the spring game.
  6. Luke Moga...whatcha got? Kidding. Kinda of.
  7. I thought we would be competitive. It's gonna take a ridiculous 2nd half to come back and I don't see it as possible.
  8. Well folks, I love my Ducks. But I don't see anything yet that says we can come back from this. Indiana is a rare team.
  9. Jay Harris will either be an Oregon hero and get paid , or he's gonna elevate his NIL with another team. He's been great so far!
  10. Just glad I'm not listening to the national broadcast. Can't imagine how much they are splooging all over Indiana.
  11. Along with the Costco bottle of Malibu Rum. 😂😂😂😂
  12. Kenyon Sadiq: I'm not a RB, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night
  13. I REALLY wish I knew the future. This wait is killin' me!!!! 😂😂😂😂
  14. How does this disrupt chemistry I wonder. Maybe it does absolutely nothing, but it would be kind of hard to pull for a guy that wanted to bail on you.
  15. OREGON (I can't say anyone else) 24-21 1 3 243 pyds
  16. The mighty SEC won't even play for the championship this year! Paul Finebaum is gonna have a stroke.
  17. Dang. Does Kenyon Barner have any eligibility left? He's around the program....just sayin.
  18. I recall that their star receiver, Taco Dowler, had a good game against Oregon. He caught the game tying TD in the OT that set up MSU's win. The kid is a shifty route runner who finds ways to get open.
  19. The UW fans are still upset that they whiffed on their coaching hire after Deboer bailed. They badmouth DL because of what he says/does and his energy and at the same time they pine for a coach that motivates and connects with players. Ultimately, I think they know they are NOT a premier coaching destination and that hurts their puppy feet.
  20. In the Orange Bowl, I think we saw a snapshot of what the plan will be with Indiana. Now, I am not saying that TT was a squad DL used for practice, but it was a great way to see a game plan against a very good defense. There were not many long shots taken against TT. There were shorter, quicker passes that provided 5-10 yards and allowed OBD to control the game. The FGs from the TTu game have to be TDs against Indiana, but the shorter, quicker throws will be how OBD beats Indiana. We simply have too many elite weapons for them to cover thoroughly. Dante completed passes to 11 different folks. That will need to continue. Finally, IF the OL can play at peak, OBD will win this game. It isn't just about about keeping Dante clean, although it starts there. Penalties will crush a drive against Indiana. Holding calls and false starts need to be absent. It's gonna be a good one!
  21. Dan Lanning is also getting HEAPS of praise from the national sports media for his take on how the playoffs in college football should be run. We have a pretty smart coach folks. 😉
