Nah... we needed 1 yard. TT has simply completely dominated our O-line. 71 total yards rushing.

We need him running as little as possible. Unfortunately, right now we need him to run.

It's about the middle of the third quarter and both teams leading rushers are their quarterbacks. You don't see that very often.

43 yards rushing for Oregon. So far, TT has destroyed our rushing game.

I'm not confident that Portland State is very good.

Hmmm... you've got me there. Sometimes I forget how 12 years in the desert has changed my perspective regarding heat.

9 penalties for 79 yards... in the first half -- so far.

It's only 90° with about 27% humidity... and they are playing in the shade. I think we can put the weather excuse to rest now.

Pretty sure he's got the same deal that Herbert had his senior year... minimal runs. Let's hope so, anyway.

Fortunately, it won't be terribly hot on Saturday, and the humidity oddly won't be that bad -- around 35%. Plus, given that game time is at 6 CST, and sunset is at about 7, they should be playing in very little direct sunlight... which is great because direct sunlight increases the temp by about +12°. All in all, I just don't want to hear any excuses related to the weather.

Maybe we're getting more like the Georgia's and Alabama's of the world in that I don't think they exactly have "substitute" players. They just sorta have "other" players... who are often just as good as the so-called 1st team guys --- and quite often, they're even better.
