  1. I don't like the call either, but if they has scored, we'd likely be calling Lanning a genius
  2. 2 penalties against Oregon for 10 yards. 5 against UW for 45 yards.
  3. IMHO, it was a mistake to not take the 3 on the road. Especially considering we start the 2nd half with the ball. But I do like the aggressiveness. And I certainly like seeing how our defense is playing now. I am betting that as the game continues on, we will continue to get more pressure on Penix. And I like seeing how on back-to-back plays he made poor decisions when the pressure was on him -- including the pick
  4. Wow... UW - 254 yards with 6 minutes left in the 2nd. Although we're moving the ball extremely well, so far, they are carving up our D.
  5. Leave it to husky fans to boo an injured player.
  6. I think it bodes well when the home team has three offside penalties in the first 21 minutes of the game.
  7. When we blitz Penix and don't get to him with pressure immediately, he will make us pay every time.
  8. Ummm... yeah. Nice understatement 😉
  9. Love it when the home team has to burn a time out early.
  10. 9 plays rushing for 44 yards. 6 plys passing for 32 yards. Love those kind of numbers. Especially early.
  11. Seriously! Are you kidding me. 90 yards drive & TD. And now 2 point convo!
  12. That was a massively huge 1st series stop
  13. What a great start to what is going to be an excellent afternoon for Oregon football. That's just fantastic news.
  14. As I've said for the last two weeks, on paper, the Ducks win this game. These guys are spot on. However, as they've also pointed out, the one massive variable is the Husky crowd. The Ducks seemed to have gotten a bit rattled by the crowd at TT, But if we've grown past that, by 4 PM this afternoon, the Ducks will be on top of the PAC 12 and have a direct line opportunity to the CFP.
  15. Your logic is also undeniable. So I vote Yes for this.
  16. I love Corso. However, I am afraid that I must address the elephant in the room, which is: 88 It is not his fault. Any of us that live long enough will eventually find ourselves losing it. It's just a fact of life. Or, Option 2 is that the rat bastards at ESPN are holding the poor guy hostage. I vote for Option 2.
  17. Exactly... personally, I can't stand the guy. But as you indicated, the guy knows football. From the specifics he said about the Ducks, it was obvious that he had actually done his homework on Oregon. There's almost no way anyone outside of Duck Nation would have picked the #8 ranked team... unless they had done their homework. GO DUCKS, GO!!
  18. Of the four talking heads on Fox Sports this morning, Urban Meyer has Oregon in the playoff. He was the only one to pick any PAC 12 team. However, this afternoon by around 3:45 PM PST, the other three will be following Urban's lead.
  19. Great minds think alike. I've got: Oregon 38-28 2 3 298
  20. I heard that after watching Mario's "Georgia Tech Victory Formation" play on Saturday, Sione wisely and quickly narrowed down his choices to Oregon & USC. And then, naturally, chose the Ducks.
  21. I'm with you. And there are things about NIL that I'm less than excited about. But at this point, I think it may end up proving be the lesser of several evils.
  22. Lol. That's just too good.
  23. I love this article. IMHO, by far Dodd just nails it here. About the only thing I disagree with is where he says, "Athletic socialism has emerged with everyone sharing in the spoils." I'd argue that what we're seeing here is clear abject capitalism, with the NCAA (equivalent of the government) now operating at an essentially laissez-faire mindset, while allowing the market to dictate.
