  1. This is much bigger than just TL. Yesterday was a stem to stern failure for the Ducks. They simply weren't ready for what they already knew was a bigger, faster and stronger opponent. The Ducks appeared to have approached yesterday's fiasco as though they were playing Purdue. In the end we got away with one playing tOSU earlier this year.
  2. Nick Fairley was extremely talented at committing personal fouls that wouldn't be detected by refs, even with the refs looking straight at the foul being committed!
  3. 49-35 A clear and solid victory! Quack!
  4. Dieon's incessant chirping finally caught up with him BIG TIME. By the middle of the third Dieon was looking about as confident as Ty Thompson last week. "Writing checks your azz can't cash" seems to be Dieon's new motto! Heisman recall?
  5. It was very kind of the Gators to allow the score in the 4th. The Ty Thompson experiment appears to have ended.
  6. If the coaching staff thinks he'll be a good fit, then he'll a good fit.
  7. No, no and NO! A top ten WR and CB? Sure. But this GOAT crap is WAY over the line.
  8. Think of it this way. If we win out we will be at 15-0 and will have played through an incredibly tough, lopsided bracket, something that may never be seen again.
  9. No fire, no "it" factor, just a big guy who managed to attract a five star rating five years ago. Third time is probably NOT the charm.
  10. Meanwhile, the best of the BIG12 means ASU dominating ISU. Too bad some of our former PAC12 brethren didn't make it to the SEC, if the SEC would've even allowed it (they wouldn't!).
  11. More like EVERYONE (except the domers) agrees with Cam on this one!
  12. As Quacky noted, with Dante Moore we may have an actual starter in the breech. This is huge for us as in recent years we've needed the portal for a starting qb. One less thing to worry about for DL. Go Duck!
  13. I assume we've been watching these games? I hate to say it, but watching the Ducks hasn't really delivered on the "highly entertaining" front. Look at this past weeks games for entertainment value. The CO/TT game was absolutely thrilling, UT/BYU was a nail biter as was Miami/GT. It's amazing that we're #1 and doing this well. I'm not complaining one bit, but Lannings teams are not what people expect from "flashy Oregon". Who would have thought that the Ducks would only be slightly more entertaining than PSU? Not me. Keep it up! Go Ducks!
  14. Headline should have been, "Refs fail to rescue Mario from punchy coaching decisions" I guess Georgia Tech matters more to the ACC than Cal, VT, etc...
  15. Like so many Eugene characters that came before, Uncle Ray, Zeus, Eagle Park Slim and so many more.
  16. Who do the refs work for, themselves? Everyone talking as if the refs are somehow a separate entity when in reality they are employees of individual leagues. The refs are doing what they're told otherwise they'd be replaced immediately.
  17. Meanwhile, on a related topic; What if the sun explodes next week and how would that effect the playoff? Perhaps it's not hyperbolic to say, "Just keep winning!"
  18. (Less than) noble gasses...
  19. Lot's of errors from both teams. Texas failing to impress, BIG time!
  20. Where the Beavs ended up is proof that the universe has way of sorting itself out. And karma...
  21. Would the NCAA be scrambling to change the rules if this was done by Bama or Georgia or tOSU or Texas? I doubt it. More likely they'd be praising them for being clever enough to leverage the rules to win a close game.
