I lost the FUBO feed about 30 minutes ago.

What the Ducks had prior to the bigs returning was a team that had an offensive/defensive flow that worked. What we have now is a team being forced into playing "big man in the paint", which has ruined pretty much everything positive we had prior to the bigs returning. This is about game flow/style and on court chemistry and I'm not very confident Altman has any idea how to make this all work. Would you rather have Dante scoring 25, no one scoring 3's and losing games? Or just live with Evans as an adjunct big while allowing the younger talent to flourish? Clearly the latter was working while the former is not. I like Altman but don't have a lot of confidence that he can figure any of this out. When the Ducks were killing it with the Brooks/Bell/Pritchard it was Altman that got much of the credit, but I think it was far more about that group of players than it was about the coach. Go Ducks!

The opportunity to win "benchmark" games passed last week. Ducks blew it. We'll win some more games this year, but making the tournament is probably a long shot.

We can always be hopeful. But after watching the CO game I think we'll be lucky to take 1 out of the next 3 games. I won't be holding my breath...

Until Oregon can develop a defense more along the lines of Michigan or Georgia we will struggle with top tier teams. Aggressive, lockdown and brutal will get the job done, anything less will not. We're not there yet, but hopeful we're getting closer!

After watching the clown show between MI and AL I'm picking WA for the win over MI. AL and MI brought shame to the Rose Bowl with their bungling offenses and foolish mistakes. This was the most inept game of the (4 team) CFP era. Of all people it was Nick Saban who had the "dear in the headlights" look. AL didn't look like they belonged and Michigan looked just a wee bit better.

The Beavs played about as well as the "victims" they claim to be.

How many 4th quarters did Nix sit out this year so TT could get game time? I'd say far more than the average starting QB sits out to give his backup game experience. TT has had numerous opportunities to get up to speed, prove himself, etc. The big reason it didn't work out for TT was the writing on the wall... It just wasn't in the cards. TT is/was a loyal Duck and a great guy, but he wants to play so best he finds a team that fits his talents and skills. It seems naive to think that if Bo would have gone down due to serious injury that TT could have stepped in and produced at anywhere near a level needed to win.

These kooks actually think that karma owes them some kind of 'moral victory', what a bunch of boobs!

Perhaps DeBoer is Lanning's Kryptonite. More importantly, Lanning needs to figure out how to get his team to start games with more emphasis, and carry the intensity through all 4 quarters. The Ducks can play, we know because we've seen 20-30+ minutes of very good play per game this year. To beat WA though, we need to play all 4 quarters with all cylinders firing. As impressive as the Ducks looked (at times) this year, it's never been a full 60 minutes of hammer down play. If Lanning can figure this out we'd be virtually unstoppable.

IDK, we looked pretty flat outside of that '22 minutes of offense'.

If the Ducks would have won... I'm starting to think the CFP committee would have taken Georgia over a one loss Ducks team.

ZERO chance. FSU got screwed! On the other hand, #8 Bama beating Georgia should have kept this playoff "SEC free"! Can you imagine the screeching and crying from Sabin, Smart and ESPN.

This wasn't the first game the Ducks basically 'phoned it in' for the first 20-25 minutes. Playing effective offense right before the half and then through the third quarter, only to fall back off over the fourth worked fine on everyone but the huskies. The 20-25 minute scoring plan clearly didn't fool WA. Did Lanning and Stein really think that anything less than 60 minutes at 100% would get the job done? The 31-34 score doesn't really tell the whole story, this game was a shellacking. Onward and upward, Go Ducks!

On a positive note; DL appears to be doing a good job with navigating these bad calls. He almost seems to be anticipating ref shenanigans.
