  1. One of them could jump I the transfer Portal after next year and brother up?
  2. Got to admit Mario is one hell of a recruiter. #5 for 2023
  3. I think the NIL & Portal for players is great! They now have some freedom that the NCAA prevented them to have for all too long. Capitalism strong!
  4. It's not just money, Mario in front of Mom & Dad is very compelling. He has been known as a top notch recruiter for years now.
  5. When that visit pic with him came out and he had shades on, I viewed that as a bad sign. Also, his announcement pic has Hollywood and dry rolling hills in the back ground. When a kid from the mid west goes to Cali in the winter it's easy to get energized by the sunny surroundings. You really can't Blame him for wanting to go to an exciting big market. We will be fine, there are so many excellent players available every year through the portal.
  6. If Phil wants this kid, don't you think he stands a good chance in getting bringing him here?
  7. Sure, the trust is there as he and staff put together a really nice season. It will be this year however that we should se some improvement in the defense, after all it is his wheel house. Yep, it'll take a few years to see Lanning's defense evolve if it's going too. I worry about just how good. the DC is when recruiting parents in the home, seems a bit rough around the edges. If we are able to get high level recruits here for opportunities to sell Oregon's program and don't seem to be doing so after this year and such, then we have to figure out why we aren't closing on players.
  8. Now we know how UW feels.
  9. Hope so, and Moore can go play somewhere else if that's what he wants.
  10. Can't blame the kid for visiting as a free agent and taking advantage of good weather in the winter. NIL bucks could keep him in Eugene?
  11. Indicates that BO is coming back?
  12. Nightmare Green are my fav. No big on the bumble bee look.
  13. This is the only Duck forum I visit and its because its a breath of fresh air. I appreciate the code of ethics in this place, Thanks for being the facilitator for something good at 71 I prefer a place where there isn't vitriol and politics! Appreciate Charles!
  14. And Rileys record in Bowl games and other big games is dismal at best.
  15. Nick Rolovich was a qb, & OC and coach in College & NFL.
  16. It's the perfect situation for Dilly. He's going to be able to take a program in disarray and build it up pretty easily imo. ASU has an appeal with young people you have 4 pro sports team within spitting distance and the fall winter weather is spectacular for young people. There will be players that follow him no doubt. Just reality
  17. Young coaches have "No Fear". Obviously they didnt take the medicine the last few weeks at the doctors. I thought it was Chip Kelly coaching there at first and goal trying to run between tackle against goal line D.
  18. ASU will make it hard for Dilly to not take the job. I was 31 when I accepted a job change that was a step up not only in pay, but position. ASU is a great opportunity for a young coach. And, if he's from AZ I bet he cant stand the weather here in the winter. Thats huge for some young people.
