  1. I agree in that he doesn't seem to have that knack of putting the ball where it needs to be and he seems to have that gunslinger style while out of the pocket where he's not afraid of risky throws. Thats ok as long as you can lead your receiver into a deep throw, however if he slings under the D and into coverage he seems to force it with a hopeful pin point pass. I think he will improve more so under this offense as the season goes on.
  2. That the offense will be more innovative than last few years. Learned that we now have solid receivers and the TE's will be used more than under MC. Bo still try's to force passes and was lucky he wasn't intercepted a few times. Played decently though. Rather than feature a few backs we will see KD use multi pack backs through out the year. They want to play players that can play.
  3. 6 Years of really decent recruiting and it doesn't seem we are all that more talented than some of Mikes teams. The whole recruiting frenzy and all the star designations, coupled with NIL & the portal, only hypes the expectations more. I like 2&3 star players that have an axe to grind and huge work ethic. Some of those boys will be showing up today against the Quack.
  4. I didnt like Dan before the game, on the field during stretching telling the players “you are blessed”
  5. Its possible that Dan & Ken gave Bo and his dad, we will give him a chance to start several games.
  6. He’ 260 and slower
  7. Yeah, I was too. I watched the spring game and Bo didnt look any better than the other two. I think Dillingham is the one wanting to stay with Bo probably has assurance from Dan that he's the guy.
  8. agree. I think the only reason Bo is here is because his relationship with Kenny D.
  9. Not a good look for Dan and Ken. Should have put another qb after half time. To me they look disorganized and not ready to play. 260 pound linebacker was slow today and a zero factor and I love him. Im not that confident now against Eastern WA.
  10. Quick slant pass to Tight End.
  11. Lanning mantra last year was "create chaos quickly" even by taking risk. Dan & Kenny will try and counter with screen passes and deep routes.
  12. Speed is the key for the OL. If we get a run game going it will open up the passing game like last year against Ohio State. But Ohio States defense wast good at all and it showed. They were very slow on O&D lines much like we were against Utah twice.
  13. Travis is still honeymooning with his new bride & school/team. Making a comment about how he feels about his new surroundings isn't that big a deal and his time as a Duck will always be special to him, Im sure. He was part of many changes here with coaches and such plus being engaged seemed to be a good time for him to create change with a new directions. When college players that are good enough to play at the next level, they will more than likely be traded a few times and probably making comments comparing old with new.
  14. After watching how slow both the O & D lines were against Utah, I sure hope Dan has addressed this or its going to be a long day Saturday. It great to have big linemen but they must be quick to contend for conference cship.
  15. Not a dawg fan at all but those are very nice uni's.
  16. Good points! I look at Marios assistant coaches he has at Miami, pretty impressive. Im hoping the best for him and think he will learn from his Duck experience.
  17. Before fall camp is over it will be evident who the starting qb should be. It will also be evident if Ty or Butters is better than Bo. Bo still starts against the Dawgs but the other two will get time next game for sure.
  18. Mullens hired Helf, Taggart & Mario, I hope he hits on DL.
  19. Mike left Chip with a loaded roster, but yeah he did well even if he disliked recruiting and left when he/the program, knew he recruiting violations were coming down. He also had a big ego when it came to using his small back to try and run between tackles of the best defense in the league in the Naddy. Also his pass on a fg for a 4thn and short, that cost big time. He did not coach the best game against Auburn as he went away from allowing his backs speed to get outside and allowing DT do rpo. We had that game won and it was because Chip's ego to prove he run small backs in at gtg. He was pretty arrogant in his approach with fans and media too.
  20. Mario did UoO a lot better than Chip Kelly ever did. Like every coach Chip had strengths and weakness's.
  21. They are inspirational! Just ask the Duck!
  22. Nothing at all wrong with pics of cheerleaders, they are an extension of the game & tradition. This is college football with real young people and gals that love to dance. These gals work very hard at their talents like the players do and deserve to be seen and appreciated. Is someone is offended by the pics they don't have to look at the pics.
  23. I see the Ducks and Huskies Staying, George wont let them go. If they did they would be the nail in the coffin for the Pac. George will come up with a financial package and a few other solid teams. Just my opinion and guess.
