Conference Realignment: 'This Sucks'
Pennsylvania Duck replied to lownslowav8r's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
1Funduck - see if you can access article through this link. One thing is clear with conference realignment and it isn't fun 247SPORTS.COM When the news hit just a few weeks back about college football's world gets thrown upside down with USC and UCLA defecting the... -
Saw this on one of the Duck sites and found it to be a good read. Good analogy for success in football and life. Click to read full article. The author put the whole thing on his Twitter.

Coach Love on Speed and Strength
Pennsylvania Duck replied to Log Haulin's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
“What makes coach Lanning so elite is that he lets his coaches coach," Love said. Makes me happy seeing one of our coaches say this!!! -
ACC-Pac 12 alliance should equate to a Clemson exit WWW.MSN.COM Two years ago, the Atlantic Coast Conference had Notre Dame right where they wanted them, and they did not close the deal... Interesting read. Clemson is in situation they don't like either and it seems the ACC leadership was rather weak too. Sounds familiar.

Cristobal’s Ducks Underperformed?
Pennsylvania Duck replied to lownslowav8r's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Excellent article. It is rather long, but gives good detail about each part of the upcoming Duck offense and defense. It sure makes you see how our past coach didn't coach players or games to potential. Sad to see that potential wasted. So happy Lanning is here and best of all, the team appears more cohesive. GO DUCKS!!!!!! -
According to this article, SEC looks at realignment from a geographical angle. It would be hard for Ducks to be involved under this scenario. More Conference Realignment? For SEC Football, It's Not Complicated WWW.MSN.COM Given the history of the SEC, expansion must be done properly if it's to be done at all.

Interesting article with LOTS of different options. Goes into much more detail than other articles I have seen. More for you to ponder....... What a Merger of the Pac-12 and ACC Might Look Like WWW.MSN.COM Several format options exist for a bicoastal conference that might save Cal and the remaining Pac-12 teams

One Thing I Know about Change...
Pennsylvania Duck replied to Kurt Rambis's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
idontrollonshobbas - What an excellent analogy! I remember discussions on Chesterton's Fence years ago. Many of the problems we face in life occur when we intervene with systems without an awareness of what the consequences could be. This sure fits our current situation. -

Axel, you are the best. How delightful to start the day with your incredible writings! -
Wow! ...The Ideas are Flying Like a Flock O' Ducks!
Pennsylvania Duck replied to 1Funduck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Change is inevitable, but I sure don't like this cat'astrophy USC/UCLA have put us in! So many traditions down the drain. None of the alternatives seem exciting at the moment. So sad. -
SoGaDawg - You are so right! So many good PAC-12 games start at 10:00PM east coast time. I start watching and fall asleep sometime before the games ends. It's no fun having to go online to see who won the day after! The PAC missing out on a large audience hurts not only viewership, but $ value as well.

Ifo Ekpre-Olomu Highlights--Oregon Stud
Pennsylvania Duck replied to Smith72's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I felt so bad for him when he was injured and I think it was in practice for a post season game his senior year. Don't quite remember the details. That injury kept him from an NFL career. With his skills and attitude, I think he would've had a solid NFL career. -
Four Keys to Oregon Football Beating Georgia
Pennsylvania Duck replied to FishDuck Article's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
You won't find troll posters on this site because they are banned. That is why I enjoy it so much. Charles and his band of moderators work hard to keep the site clean. It is so refreshing to have discussions without name calling, foul language, etc. BTW, it is great to read viewpoints from GA Dawgs!- 36 replies

At the end, the announcers said, "It will be must see tv when Devon Allen runs against Grant Holloway (WR holder) and Trey Cunningham (NCAA champ) in Eugene." Perhaps a new WR?

Rashada Getting Closer to a Decision
Pennsylvania Duck replied to Log Haulin's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Aren't the Ducks more interested in Dante Moore? I thought he was generating more interest lately from our coaches. -
2022 Ducks Football from a Utes Perspective
Pennsylvania Duck replied to Notalot's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
For a "Preview", this article lacks depth and details. Not very interesting/informational read from this writer.
