It's Not Going Well At WSU
DUDES! You are too good of players to waste it! People are forgiving but there is a limit. Often the limit is once, which you have already reached. Keep your heads down, study hard, and give the rest of the PAC 12 your best game every week. Most importantly, WIN ALL YOUR OOC GAMES!!!!

YUP! I hope he stays the whole 4 years without declaring for the NFL early.

Tyler Shough in the Transfer Portal
Arroyo would love to have him. Lots of teams would.

Tyler Shough in the Transfer Portal
I doubt it. Last year TS was one of the top fifty QBs in the whole country. He could probably start at almost any mid-level power 5 school in the country.

Tyler Shough in the Transfer Portal
This is the reason that this is not good news. AB has experience but he wasn't all that impressive in his limited number of snaps. Now, Butterfield, Ashford, and Ty Thompson HAVE to step up and be good. AB is gone in one year, and that should encourage everyone else to stay in the room. Ashford has a good reason to stay because of baseball. His talents will be highlighted well with the Ducks. How well he does on the football field depends on how much time he wants to put into football as opposed to baseball.

Detailed Historical Breakdown of the DeRuyter Defense
Thanks Charles, for this link. It was interesting to see his defense going up against Mighty Mariota, Barner, and DAT. It made me want to take a look at our games against CAL the last couple of years, just to watch CAL´s defense.

Womens Game vs. Cal on Friday Postponed
This is EXACTLY what I was talking about on the Women's BB thread. It is hard to find a rhythm when it is being broken up so much. They miss a competitive game against Cal that should be a tune up for the big game on Monday against #5 Stanford. But NO! we have to go straight to the Stanford game. Instead of 2 games to get better in, they only have 1. Charles, I am totally with your GIF.

No. 5 in ESPN's 2021 Pre-Season Poll? Whew!
Iowa State at 7 is pretty good. They can justify two spots to the Ducks because of the last couple recruiting cycles... I'm sure that's how ESPN was thinking. "Look Oregon fans....we cannot claim lack of respect or being passed over by national media." This is what I have been thinking for a while. We may not DESERVE all the respect at times, but the PAC 12 is still POWER 5. There were a total of 5 that's FIVE PAC 12 teams in the top 25.

Oregon Women’s Basketball Searching for Identity
One problem the ladies have had is simply the interruptions that COVID has made throughout the season. Normally, teams have regularly scheduled practices and games. There is a rhythm That flows throughout the week. When we see that one person can't play due to "protocols", that person might have practiced all week with the team but a positive test pulls them out of the game. All that practice with her on the floor is lost for that game. She may be out of practice for the whole next week, but then be eligible to play the following weekend - but without the benefit of practice! I think it has been twice this season that the entire team was sidelined with all team activities "suspended". How does that help the team rhythm??? They finally get back to practice and the first game they play in a week and a half or two weeks is against a top ten team. You get my point. We have no clue who can or cannot practice any given day, and that affects how well the whole team plays together when the game is on the line. I trust Coach Graves, his staff, and his team are giving it their very best every day.

Arizona 79 Oregon 59
What's not good for anyone is having time off from practicing and playing. Too many times this is happening.

Definitely worth a scholarship. The question is, Did MC have a scholarship to give? If we want JTT, do we have a scholarship to give him if he wants it? Who else will we miss out on if we have no scholarships to give? That's the problem with a larger class: you have to make decisions based on probabilities and unknowns. It's definitely an area that hindsight is 20/20 and it's impossible to know beforehand what you will have in the end to give.

Justin Herbert....is that a CARP?
Most probably, seeing where he is fishing.

Cristobal Cost Herbert the No. 1 NFL Draft Pick
On the question of the article: IF MC cost JH the first over all pick in the draft, I say, "Good for him!" I also say that, if he did, Herbert owes MC a debt of thanks. For a QB, it is not necessarily good to be drafted #1. For several reasons: 1) You are being drafted by a team that has a lot more problems that at QB. The Chargers were mostly together as functional team. 2) The expectations of the fan base is that you will come in and save the team (which is totally unrealistic) and almost dooms you to disappoint - at least on that point. The expectation for Herbert his first year with the Chargers was to sit on the bench most of the year. 3) Your offensive line is not going to be the best, and this is not good for your long term success at staying upright. JH stayed upright all year. 4) The money difference between #1 and #6 is not all that huge. My money is on Herbert making a lot more money than the #1 pick when their second contract comes around. If he has as good a year next year as he did this year, the Chargers might not wait 4 or 5 years to give him a raise. 5) Speaking of money, more success means more endorsements. You don't get that success and those endorsements playing for the worst team in the NFL. For my final argument, I will simply quote BigDucksFan: Being the No. 1 pick in the draft is not necessarily the best of possibilities. So, Mario Cristobal, if you ARE responsible for Justin Herbert being picked sixth and not first, I just want to say, "Thank you! Good job!"

Justin Herbert on Endorsement Deal: "I've always been NIKE"
Hindsight says he was smart not to take the first deal out of the box. Having a ROY year and almost every record in rookie NFL history has got to help the bottom line.
