  1. They're 4-6 in their last 10 games, so...no?
  2. Alamo will be the best case scenario, and I don't see that happening. Most likely it's going to be the Holiday Bowl.
  3. Apparently, the scouting website! I use 247sports and Crader is a 4-Star recruit! That said, I don't have allegiances in the recruiting services world. The higher they rank a Duck, the more I like them. I imagine it all evens out for the Duck players they rate lower, making all the services the same.
  4. So many times when TT goes in he's told to either be super cautious like he's Mr. Glass, or they do trick/cute plays. Even making him do laterals that don't turn out is practically malpractice. Oregon is doing everything possible to ruin TT. If the Oregon program refuses to give back-up QB's QB1 plays when they go in, I'd question signing with them if I were a recruit.
  5. If Bo Nix isn't playing the spread should be 13.5 points.
  6. Frankly, I don't really enjoy close games near as much as blowouts where Oregon's on the winning side. It looks like Vegas says Utah is favored by 2.5 points, but I hope the Ducks win by 25 points. Generally, I don't like upsets, but if there has to be a few I certainly don't mind Oregon getting one or maybe two a year. I prefer the rich to richer. It makes for a better on-field product.
  7. I don't know if I'm "old" but I'm not young either. I still pay for cable (Xfinity), and I have Prime, Netflix, HBO, and Peacock. The only time I watch streamed sports games is for Thursday Night Football, and it's annoying because I prefer to channel surf to other sports games- especially during commercials. When the Ducks are up 30 points on the Huskies, for example, I like to hit the back button on my Xfinity remote, and I can watch all the other games in a split second. With streaming it's annoying having to hit the home button. If your game isn't the marquee game, you'll have to search for it when going back into the app. My vote is tier one and maybe tier two rights to go to cable/network TV. Hopefully the Ducks go to the B1G soon, and none of this matters.
  8. Hmm. Everything in this article was bad news for the Ducks.
  9. The open HC at Auburn is up for debate as being the best job on the market right now. There's Nebraska, Wisconsin, and I suppose Arizona State. Lanning isn't leaving for any of those teams. Maybe Georgia or Alabama some time?
  10. This is a waste of time. If USC goes then the B1G will need other Pacific coast teams. Oregon and Washington would bolt in a drop of the hat, and then the UCLA regents will be like, "Well, we can't be stuck in a lame duck conference. We better try to get the B1G to take us back."
  11. The Chargers have become my main team now. I've never liked the Seahawks since moving to Oregon many years ago. The Chargers radio game day show (and game play by play) plays on one of the two sports radio channels in Eugene. Seattle gets nothing. The Chargers are in a much more difficult division and conference than Atlanta. Herbert needs the win more than Mariota. Atlanta is in first place.
  12. Oregon 34-21 3 turnovers 3 sacks 340 passing yards
  13. fivethirtyeight.com says Oregon has a 70% chance of making the Playoff if we win out.
  14. LSU lost today, and GameDay will surely go to Alabama @ Rocky Top in Tennessee next week. Oregon is the only answer.
  15. Maybe they'll go to Alabama. I hope not. GameDay doesn't get enough trips to the West Coast, and they like Autzen and Eugene.
  16. That's a good point. If all teams don't lose a game by that date, the competition for GameDay would be Georgia vs. Kentucky and Michigan vs. Illinois. GameDay could pass on coming to Eugene for those other two games. The week we play UCLA there would be no competition to get the nod if UCLA beats Utah.
  17. Pollsters might move up Oregon higher if we win on GameDay, so UCLA.
  18. I think Bo will go to the NFL if he's projected to be drafted in the 3-6 round range. Maybe even the 7th. He's spent a long time in college, and I don't think possibly getting more money in NIL than as a late round pick is going to be the deciding factor. But what do I know?
  19. When I teed off on the first hole (500 yard par 5), the Ducks were down about 10. On the way to hole #2 the Ducks were up 10. And I play pretty fast!
  20. Thanks for the post. I watched the entire game live.......except for the 4th quarter! Go figure! I had to play golf, and couldn't get out of it. That said, if I watched the 4th quarter live the Ducks might have lost.
  21. 1) UCLA 2) Arizona 3) Oregon 4) USC 5) Stanford 6) ASU 7) Colorado 8- WSU 9) WASH 10) Utah 11) CAL 12) Beavs Go Ducks!
  22. An easy way to end night games is by joining a conference based in the Midwest. Problem solved.
  23. UCLA got roped into leaving because they were tied to USC. I assign them less blame. They're an accessory to a crime, though for some crimes you simply get found equally culpable despite intent, and spend life in prison. UCLA has been too weak for far to long to get really mad at. Plus, it's a great school with a nice campus. Also, the whole Rose Bowl thing in Pasadena. Oregon will be in the Big 10 soon enough, and people will be mad at us, too.
  24. Well, shouldn't every PAC fan be rooting for every other PAC team in OOC games? It would only help their rankings and Playoff chances when they play that PAC team if that team wins.
