The offense is out of sync and really misses Tez. We need to play Mari ball and see if we can just pound the ball.

We need some momentum on offense. Last week he sparked it in the 3rd quarter with a fake punt and some trick players.

I know that Wisky isn’t a good team but I don’t like how we are letting them stick around. The defense has played great but the offense needs to start scoring TDs in the red zone.

I think that Coach Lanning would be successful no matter where he is. That said, there have been some great college football coaches that have failed in the NFL. It’s a different game. Coach Lanning would likely have to adjust his motivational style. Hopefully he finishes the job and bring Oregon its first football national championship.

Hopefully the Ducks will host Alabama at home, in late December, for a playoff game, in the not so distant future.

Perhaps Coach Lanning is so tired of answering the third quarter scoring woes, he just said: “[forget] it, I’m going to use this fake punt and 2 point conversion I’ve been saving all year!”

For anyone who had a chance to see John Robinson coach, what made his teams and him as a coach unique and good (besides the talent)?

John McKay also played for Oregon from 1947-1949. So did John Robinson and his friend John Madden (briefly).
