  1. With all due respect, he has had a month since the missed kick against UW to bounce back. How much more time do you give him? Are you willing to potentially lose a game, for a team with national championship aspirations, to stick with a kicker who appears to be in his own head? I'm not as confident that he'll be able to fix this issue during the season and I wouldn't put a game in his hands (or foot). I would: 1) Give one of the other two kickers on the roster a chance in the ASU game, assuming that they have looked competent in practice. 2) If I don't feel confident in the other kickers, I would start going for every critical 4th down on offense, unless it's a straight ahead kick under 40 yards. Lewis can still handle kickoff duties.
  2. Dang it. Wish you hadn't told me that...how am I going to resist free McDonalds French fries?!!!
  3. The roster shows 3 place-kickers; Andrew Boyle98 PK 6' 2" 200 lbs JR Camas, WA Camden Lewis49 PK 5' 10" 205 lbs SR Charlotte, NC Grant Meadors93 PK 5' 11" 180 lbs FR Bakersfield, CA It might be worth giving someone else a shot in the ASU game. Camden Lewis appears to have a case of the yips and I would not trust him to make a critical field goal to win or tie a game right now. Don't be surprised if Dan Lanning goes for a critical 4th down instead of kicking a field goal.
  4. But that doesn't stop the media from constantly talking and writing about it, and players will continue to see and hear it. The screenshot that I posted above was from the front page of espn.com. Oregon does not need any distractions right now.
  5. I’m really looking forward to that UW vs. OSU game. If OSU wins, Oregon could end the season playing two top 10 teams.
  6. This. USC stabbed the PAC-12 in the back. Instead of speaking with the commissioner about their concerns, they secretly orchestrated their exit to the B1G. The PAC would have survived if UCLA didn’t tag along with USC, IMO.
  7. Would Deion Sanders be a candidate for A&M? With ATM’s NIL, seems like he could kill it on the recruiting front, and he seems like he would relish the challenge.
  8. You shut it down right away to prevent it from becoming a distraction to your current team, who is trying to win a conference championship and earn a spot in the playoffs.
  9. Same here. What some Duck fans aren’t thinking about is what if an undefeated Washington beats Oregon in the conference championship game and goes on to win the national championship. We’ll have to deal with more arrogance from those leg humpers up north for years to come. No, thank you. Go Utes and Beavs.
  10. I hope that the Oregon AD expanded the scoreboards to add a 3rd digit this week…
  11. Big props to Kris Hutson. It would have been easy for him to quit when he lost his starting spot but he hung around and is finding a way to make the team better, while also working on his game. I wish him nothing but the best.
  12. I can't believe that Oregon is set to host 50+ recruits on Saturday, including many 4 and 5 stars from all over the country. LOL. Did anyone else notice 2026 QB Knox Kiffin is scheduled to attend the game? It would be funny if committed to Oregon over his dad, Lane Kiffin, and Ole Miss.
  13. Those games were scheduled up to a decade ago. Oregon just learned that it was joining the B1G conference a couple of months ago. We’ll see what Mullens decides to do but it might not be worth paying the penalty ($500K-$1M+) to cancel those games (we are not getting a full B1G media share and Oregon’s travel costs are about to increase substantially). Oregon certainly shouldn’t fear Oklahoma State or Baylor.
  14. Non conference schedules are made years in advance. We’ll see how Rob Mullens adjusts the schedule going forward now that Oregon is in the B1G; however, Dan Lanning may want to keep the games in and around Texas for recruiting purposes.
  15. That’s why I’d love to see it… He’s probably living in the Hatfield-Dowlin Complex!!!
  16. I’d love to see the coaches put in a play or two for Gary Bryant Jr. (e.g., WR double reverse) this week, just to stick it to the Trojans. I also hope that there are some creative signs for the Trojans and TV audience. CeeDee Lamb Takes Double Reverse 19 Yards WWW.DALLASCOWBOYS.COM Dallas Cowboys quarterback Ben DiNucci leads way for wide receiver CeeDee Lamb on double reverse.
  17. Great article. The coaches are putting on a master class in getting the team prepared every single week. They are also really good at making in-game adjustments to counter what the other team is doing. Then there is the X factor, Bo Nix, who is playing at the highest level you can as a collegiate and is extremely motivated to win a championship. You can tell from the videos that he’s putting a ton of effort into watching film and game prep (I’d love to see his fall class schedule). Consequently, he quickly recognizes defensive formations and knows how to attack it, checking into a more favorable play, if necessary, and he has the talent to execute (just look at his completion percentage and TD/interception ratio!!!). We are witnessing a special team. I’m hoping that the Ducks can keep it up and earn a spot in the college football playoff.
  18. Or Georgia just needs to take care of business and win out, beating Bama in the SEC Championship Game…
  19. Which means that Coach Stein will roll out the Air Raid offense this week… [I kid…sort of]
  20. “coaches still seem like they need 2 timeouts in a row to make the same decision from the 1st time out.” “He's the Michael Scott of coaching.”
  21. USC fires its DC after UW scores 52. What happens when the Ducks drop 60 or 70?
