Penn State Coach Sounds Like a Husky Honk!
I’m sure that Penn State’s athletic department budget dwarfs Oregon’s. Big Game James Franklin is just lining up his excuse for the B1G Championship loss.

Can We Say it OUT LOUD? "The Pac-12 Was Tougher Than the B1G"
The variety of offenses, QB play and offensive execution in the PAC were head and shoulders above the B1G and every other major conferences. Stanford wanted to play power football and run the ball down your throat with Toby Gerhart, Christian McCaffrey, et al. WSU ran the air raid and other pass heavy offenses. Oregon ran the spread option under CK and has returned to a more dynamic, explosive offensive under DL. USC, Cal, et al ran pro style offenses with better QBs and skilled positions than most of the B1G teams. It was much harder to go undefeated because the PAC offenses could put up points. It was hard for DCs to adjust week to week and to recruit defensive players to go up against all of the different styles they saw through the season. Do you beef up to stop Stanford or get faster, more athletic to match up against the spread teams? The B1G had better offensive and defensive line play but Oregon just ran around and past them when we played B1G teams. The only team that has given Oregon trouble from the B1G over the past decade was Ohio State. Thankfully, they hired Day.

I certainly don’t want Ewers in Eugene, when he enters the portal. He’s not good in big games.

Kenny Dillingham - COY?
When is the voting for coach of the year? If DL wins Oregon’s first NC, how do you not give him the award?!

Dan Lanning's Movie Reference Ahead of the Big Ten Championship Ruffles Feathers
I like how he had Boucher carry the bat on the field for the Ducks. Very fitting.

Ruh-Roh! Lincoln Riley to LEAVE USC?
Well at least Oregon won’t have to worry about Jahkeem developing to his full potential. USC is one of the last places I’d want to sign to right now, if I wanted good coaching and development.

Penn State Coach Sounds Like a Husky Honk!
Don’t forget that Oregon is only getting 50% of the media share.

B1G All-Conference Team
I don’t know who I would take over Matayo, Harmon, Muhammad or T-Ferg. Those players are special and are a B1G reason why Oregon is undefeated and the #1 team in the country. Guess it will take awhile for “East Coast” bias to subside. We’ll need to continue to win and win B1G.

Time to For the Big Ten to Adopt Las Vegas
I don’t like the idea of weather having a significant outcome on the game. That’s why the top bowls and Super Bowl tend to be in locations that reduce the probability that weather is a major factor. I want the best team to win, not who is the best playing in adverse weather conditions.

Bucky Irving is Killing it in the NFL
He was a terrific running back at Oregon and I’m glad to see him having success in the NFL. I don’t know how he went under the radar, as a recruit and transfer. He’s a special player.

Time to For the Big Ten to Adopt Las Vegas
It would make a lot of sense to rotate the B1G championship game between Las Vegas and a site in the traditional B1G footprint (where weather won’t be a factor).

Oregon Ducks' Dan Lanning Is An Elite Recruiter, NIL Is Not The Reason: Tez Johnson Exclusive
Great article! Thank you for sharing. It’s not going to play well in Seattle, LA, Columbus, et al because they believe that the only reason Oregon is able to sign top recruiting classes is because of PK’s NIL money. The seniors paint a very different picture about the culture at Oregon that Coach Lanning has established and the type of man he is. Tez Johnson: "We tell the recruits... 'When you come here, you're going to practice. You're going to work every day. You're going to go to school. You're going to come back, have meetings, and you'll be up here [points to meeting rooms] all day.’” "If you have any dreams of going to the next level, this is the school you want to be at. There's no other school you want to be at other than here. A lot of schools, you have a lot of distractions around you. But in Eugene, it's football all day." "Every game day, we're ready to run through a brick wall for [Coach Lanning]. Because he's going to give you all that he got. He's going to give you 100 percent every day. He's the most mentally prepared and mentally tough guy I've ever seen in my life. I don't know how he does it. The consistency is unbelievable."

But What if We Lose the Big Ten Championship?
I’m really hoping that the Ducks win the B1G championship in its first season in the new conference! Undefeated, B1G conference champion. How cool would that be? We can worry about the playoffs / seeding / matchups next week…

The Rumors About Ryan Day....Whew!
A public vote of confidence from the AD? Coach Day is gone (unless he wins the national championship). That’s the kiss of death for a coach.

Are You Ready??!!
Thanks for sharing. This team is special and is doing things not many teams have done. • 12-0! (the only unbeaten college football team remaining) • 1st unanimous #1 football team in Oregon‘s history But the jobs not done! Oregon went to the conference championship game last year and came up just short. “It’s time to finish the game.”
