Can we just end the college football season now?!!!!

USC and UCLA are tied for second to last place in the B1G with a 1-3 conference record. Purdue is in last place at 0-4. I guess if you are going to suck, it’s better to do it with a lot of $$$$$$?

Shhhhhhhhh. That doesn’t fit the national narrative…

As Joey Harrington says: “It doesn’t matter.” We have over a month of football remaining and conference championships. With the expanded college football playoffs, we’ll get to settle it on the gridiron. Does Oregon deserve to be #1? Yes, we are undefeated with two wins over top 20 teams, including the former #2 (and still top 5) team. Are we the best team in the country? No one knows but hopefully we’ll have a chance to find out. I do believe that Oregon can beat any team in the county if they play their A game. Hopefully Oregon can stay healthy and continue to improve (become more consistent).

Mariota finished 18-23 (78.3%) for 205 yards (8.9 yards per completion) with 2 TD and 0 interceptions. The Commanders won 40-7. This is what a lot of Duck fans were hoping to see and I hope that MM makes the most of the opportunity and gets another shot somewhere.

After they and most national pundits picked Ohio State the weekend before. I might have to join Charles and place a bet for the opposite team, the next time I see them all pick one team in their final selection...

LOL. Coach Lanning has too much respect and admiration for Coach Smart for that to happen.

Wilcox is a good DC but a mediocre head coach. Those people that wanted Oregon to hire him as the head coach wouldn't have even mentioned his name as a potential candidate, if he weren't a former Duck player.

He is a young coach and was frustrated after the game. I'm sure that he'll learn from it. That said, I would be pissed if I were the player's parents.

And to think that some Duck fans, alums and former players wanted him in Eugene instead of Lanning...

Surprised that Coach Lanning didn't rank the Ducks lower to bring down the average. LOL. Perhaps he is one of the two coaches that voted Georgia #1 (maybe Sark is the other)? Someone should ask him to share his rankings this week during one of his press conferences or media interviews.

I'm interested to see how Oregon's offense performs in November at Michigan and at Wisconsin, especially if there is snow. We do not have the running game we are accustomed to and we might need to establish that in bad weather games, later in the season.

Michigan's QB had a rating of 22 with an average of 6.5 yards per completion and Illinois's QB had a rating of 68.1 with an average completion of 4.4 yards. Neither team had a 100 yard rusher. Why wouldn't you want to watch that throwback 21-7 football game?!!!

Congratulations. Georgia looked really good, yesterday, particularly the defense. I wouldn’t want to play them right now. I still don’t understand how you lost to Alabama.
