  1. At least Taggard and Cristobal left the cupboard full (with their top 5 recruiting classes). Whomever takes over at Washington is looking at a complete rebuild. It couldn't have happened to a nicer bunch...
  2. I’m not surprised that Cam Ward pulled his name from the NFL draft but thought that he might end up at Bama with DeBoer.
  3. Oregon State's field goal kicker (Atticus Sappington) transferred to Oregon. He was 13-14 last year with a long of 48 yards.
  4. "Following DeBoer agreeing to coach Alabama in early afternoon, the UW called a players' meeting. One father posted that roughly only 25 percent of the team attended it." MSN WWW.MSN.COM
  5. UW fans were laughing at Oregon fans a couple of days ago, when Lanning was supposedly the leading candidate. Irony?!!!
  6. I agree. That said, last season, Evan Stewart made contested catches downfield that not many college wide receivers are capable of. Someone said that he makes 50/50 balls 75/25. His potential is off the charts. Hopefully, Oregon can get the most out of him.
  7. Evan Stewart appears to be a great replacement for Troy Franklin. Dillon Gabriel is going to love having him as a weapon. Stewart is a true deep threat and makes tough, contested catches all over the field. Looks like a terrific pickup for the Oregon Ducks. I'm shocked that he didn't have more production at Texas A&M this past year but I don't know much about the Aggie's offense or QB.
  8. He’ll take the Ohio State job when Day is fired because losing to Michigan is a prerequisite in Columbus and he has that one down…
  9. Anyone else think that Penix's draft stock decreased after this game?
  10. Hail to the Victor! I've never wanted another team to win so bad. Go Big Blue!!! Huck the Fuskies!!!
  11. If Michigan is going to go for it on 4th and 3, why throw the ball when you are gashing the UW defense with the run?
  12. Terrance Ferguson is the best tight end that Oregon has had in years, IMO, since we regularly produced NFL ready TEs. BIG retention for Dillon Gabriel! Our coaches and Division Street have been busy!
  13. Hopefully Birch has a monster senior season and can improve his draft stock to the first round. He certainly has the physical attributes you'd look for in the NFL, scouts just need to see the productivity and consistency.
  14. Agreed. In the Beavers' case, it could also be wanting to play against top competition and exposure, especially if the player has NFL aspirations. I'm just saying that every player has different motivations/desires and it's not always about the NIL $$$.
  15. Oregon should use Noah, like the Niners use Christian McCaffrey. Give him some designed runs up the middle and pitches to the outside but shift him all over the field to create match up issues for the defense. We should also consider using him as the kickoff and punt returner as that could increase his draft stock.
  16. Some kids may also value playing time or other factors (e.g., a fresh start, new coaches, being closer to home) over NIL $$$…
  17. I love Bo Nix but he didn’t win a conference championship and was 0-3 vs. the hated Huskies. Therefore, there are a handful of modern Oregon QBs that I’d take over Bo.
  18. This is one of the few times that I wish there was a thumbs down on FishDuck. Huck the Fuskies! 👏 👏 👏👏👏
  19. I’m grateful that Bo decided to play, but without him I think that Oregon would have pounded the rock and still won the game comfortably. Liberty did not deserve to play in a New Year’s bowl game (not a single victory against a top 25 team) and were at a severe disadvantage at the line of scrimmage and outside of the first drive did not score on Oregon’s defense.
  20. Liberty had no business in the Fiesta Bowl or a New Year's Day Bowl. They had a nice season but not a single victory over a top 25 team this season. They did not earn it.
  21. I have not heard his name called today. As of the end of the 3rd quarter, Dickey has not registered a catch. Hopefully that will change in the 4th when our backups get some playing time.
  22. I love all of the easy passes (e.g., push passes, screen passes) that Oregon is calling to help Bo break the record. Wonder if Mac Jones is watching and what he is thinking. LOL.
  23. I don’t believe that they track NCAA dropped pass stats but I wouldn’t be surprised if Oregon were averaging 2-3 dropped passes per game this season. Oregon’s receivers have been great at yards after the catch and blocking downfield but they need to work on catching the routine passes. The one that bounced off our receivers hands, right in front his facemask, to a defensive back for an interception earlier this season stands out.
