GameDay Thread versus Liberty: Join Us!
Liberty had a nice season but they have no business being in a New Year’s bowl game. Not a single victory against a top 25 team.

GameDay Thread versus Liberty: Join Us!
Oregon receivers have been dropping passes all year; otherwise, Bo Nix would have the all time completion percentage record easily.

GameDay Thread versus Liberty: Join Us!
He had his whole life ahead of him. Always sad when someone decides to end it, especially for those closest to him.

I hope Ferg and Tez come back next year. Bryant Jr. can be a big time playmaker next year, if he puts in the work in the offseason.

Cam Ward Declares For Draft
I’m shocked that he didn’t go to a 2024-25 title contender. Ward was a fun QB to watch in college. I wish him the best. Playing for Mario would have been detrimental to his career.

GameDay Thread versus Liberty: Join Us!
I’m assuming that these aren’t PAC-12 refs. Thank goodness we’ll never have to deal with those refs ever again.

GameDay Thread versus Liberty: Join Us!
Oregon definitely showed up in the second quarter. I think we could have beaten Liberty comfortably without throwing a single pass. They cannot stop Oregon’s running game. I hope that Bo sits the second half.

Soak This UP While You Can....
I would not be surprised if Dana waits until after Jackson Shelstad and Kwame Evans, Jr. are finished. Coach Altman has to be excited about the potential with those two ballin' out in Eugene. One final run at a National Championship in the next 4 years?

GameDay Thread versus Liberty: Join Us!
Oregon looks flat through the first quarter. Stein is too pass happy and our WRs drop too many passes. Regardless of what the coaches say, these bowl games are pointless. Just look at all the empty seats.

Soak This UP While You Can....
Mine was how good this team can be once they get healthy. UCLA stayed in the game due to offensive rebounds. If Dante were playing, it would have been an Oregon blowout.

I Was WRONG About Jackson Shelstad...
Jackson Shelstad is ahead of where Payton Pritchard was at this stage, IMO. Pritchard really took his game to the next level his final season, where he was dominant. Shelstad has the opportunity to be one of the best basketball players in Oregon history, if he can stay healthy and continue to get better. Like Payton, he is also a winner and wants the ball in his hands at the end of the game. I’m really impressed with this year’s Ducks basketball team. If they can get healthy, they have a chance to make some noise in the NCAA tourney.

Big-Boy Good News...
I wouldn’t mind seeing McRoy at defensive tackle. Good luck moving or throwing over him!

Dante Moore in Learning Mode...
Thanks for sharing. Does anyone know whether Dante has spent any time in Eugene after deciding to commit to the Ducks? He could also learn from watching Bo prepare for a game.

Hawaii Game In Doubt?
This is what I was referring to as well. If the Hawaii game were moved to 9/21 then Oregon would have to play 11 straight weeks and if it were moved to 11/23 then Oregon would have 10+ straight games, depending on the conference championship and post season, assuming that my math is correct. That is an insane number of consecutive weeks to go without a break (whatever you want to call it). The athletes need a break to recover from this physically demanding game.

Transfer Portal Tracker: Updated list of Players to Leave Oregon Ducks via 2024 Portal
At some point, you just have to face reality. I hope that the young man can earn a college degree and prepares himself for life beyond football.

Hawaii Game In Doubt?
Dillion Gabriel was looking forward to playing a game in his native Hawaii, so I hope they can figure it out. However, I agree with others - Oregon should not give up its bye week.

Beaver Kicker Transfers to Ducks
I haven’t really watched him but Atticus appears to be a solid, dependable kicker. Much better than what Oregon had this past year.

Chip and the Chargers
Chip tied the Niners worse record in franchise history (with only 2 wins). The Niners had 5 wins the season before Chip and 6 the season after. A couple of seasons before he arrived they were playing in the Super Bowl and Shanahan has them playing at an elite level again. Don’t kid yourself, Chip was a special kind of bad in San Francisco.

Mike Farrell Sports, Is Oregon the Next Football Superpower?
"As I watch Lanning construct his team in his image, the blueprint is exactly what made Alabama and Georgia the top programs in the nation. Oregon is getting dynamic athletes in the trenches: ones that wreck and control games."

CU Later? Buff Fans INFURIATED with Dan Lanning
Unless you are a top cornerback, I don't understand why a top high school recruit wold commit to Deion Sanders and Colorado. Everyone knows that he will be gone with the first big time job offer he gets. Colorado did nothing for the Pac-12. They are joining a middle tier college football conference, where they belong.

The Fiesta Bowl is a Must-Win Game for Lanning
The Fiesta Bowl is the classic trap game. This may be Liberty's biggest game in their program history and they have nothing to lose. I doubt that Oregon will be able to match Liberty's intensity but hopefully with Bo and the key players we have suiting up for the game, we'll be able to execute a clean game and talent will win in the end.

Hawaii Game In Doubt?
Given their stadium situation, I wonder if Hawaii would be willing to play the game in Autzen in exchange for $$$.

Bottom Line: How Oregon WINS B1G in the New Pac-12 Settlement
I also hope that the money set aside for litigation goes into an escrow account and that if the settlement is less then the 10 teams get a pro rata refund.

Harbaugh Reportedly Being Offered $125Mil for 10 Years
I acknowledged in my original post that he hasn’t won the big one, yet, but he puts his team in a position to win. This is Michigan’s 3rd consecutive playoff appearance. How many other coaches can claim this accomplishment before the expanded playoff? Last year was a bad loss but the year before he lost to Georgia (I don’t know how anyone could use this as a knock against him). He also regularly beats Ohio State, who has a more talented roster. Most Oregon fans would be happy to be able to beat our #1 rival… Jim Harbough is one of the top 5 current college coaches and has proven that he can win in the NFL.

How Oregon Can Win the 2024/25 Championship
Oregon has arguably the top returning QB in all of college football with the transfer of Dillon Gabriel. It is said that quarterback is the most important position in all of sports. Oregon is in a win now mode and should be one of the favorites to win the B1G next season, unless we have a flood of key portal transfers after the Fiesta Bowl (which seems extremely unlikely). We’ll have to wait to see how we match up against Michigan and Ohio State but Oregon beat both teams the last time we played them (on the road). Respect everyone, fear no one!
