The Heisman should not be determined by 2 games. Bo Nix had the better SEASON statistically than Penix and won the PAC-12 Offensive Player of the Year and was named 1st team PAC-12. The coaches who went up against both players decided that Bo was better this year. Plus, Bo outplayed Penix in the PAC-12 Championship game with a 3-1 TD to interception ratio (vs 1-1). Oregon lost because Washington controlled the line of scrimmage, not because of how Bo played. His one interception was that whacky play were the UW defender came off the sideline. There was no better QB in college football this year and Bo should hold his head up high. The Heisman has been a joke for years. I never watch.

I can’t wait to see the voting analyzed. Bo won the PAC-12 Offensive Player of the year but Penix finished ahead of him in Heisman voting? Something smells off…

I wish Ty Thompson nothing but the best. He has been a class act and represented Oregon well. I hope that he goes somewhere that he can start right away and shows everyone what he can do.

Landing Dillon Gabriel can't hurt Oregon's chances. He could protect one of the best returning QBs in the nation and be on a team that is a favorite to win the B1G next year and compete for the national championship.

Ty Thompson should definitely transfer. I hope that TT finds a good spot and kills it (unless they play Oregon). He has a lot of talent (e.g., strong arm, mobility, size) and just needs to get on the field to prove it.

That’s some pretty impressive company. Both Grasu and Unger have played in the League for awhile. Congrats JPJ!

I heard that Texas Tech will play Oregon the week before and the BSU game has been pushed. If you look at the schedule we had a ton of home games scheduled for next year but something like 5 the following week. This will help to balance it out a bit. Oregon State is losing players and coaches. It’s not going to be the same team we’ve played the past few seasons.

The NCAA needs a NIL salary cap and/or player maximums so that there continues to be some parity in college football.

Bo has certainly earned that right; however, I believe that Ty Thompson starting the bowl game would be better for the Oregon football program. We need to see what TT can do in a pressure situation, against a quality opponent. Let him have a couple of weeks to prepare to be the guy and turn him loose. What do we have to lose?

I've lost my interest in the rest of the college football season and will not watch the games today or any of the bowl/playoff games. The only reason for me to watch Oregon play in the bowl game is to see Ty Thompson, if Bo Nix decides to opt out. On to the NFL season. Go Niners!
