Oregon Football: Nico Iamaleava Should Not Be a Duck
Augduck replied to FishDuck Article's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I think this pretty much seals the deal. No? CFB analyst praises Oregon's Dan Lanning for not letting Nico Iamaleava's camp abuse their power APPLE.NEWS Dan Lanning seems to be the reason for the start of Nico Iamaleava's ending on Rocky Top, giving him... -
Rivals Sunday Sidewalk, the Lanning Approach to NIL

And we could have had Justin Wilcox..... -
I would not be surprised if Mario went after him. Dan's 'BS' and 'me' acumen is very high. When Dan took over from Mario it took him about a month to figure who was real and who wasn't.

Did Mario's babysitter Aaron Feld move to UW?

Is Oregon's Offense Going To Be As Potent As Last Year?
Augduck replied to Mike West's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Not to derail this thread and expanding on Charles' comment above. The article referenced is from a content management service. The service, Essentially Sports is owned by Full Spectrum which is a digital product company based in India. Their primary business is Web and Application development and Digital Marketing. The author of the article is not one of the usual 'DUCKS beat' writers. What these content services do is scour the web for articles, take them and put a spin on them that will cause people to click on them, hence they become 'click bait'. The net here is there are things in the article for discussion but the author sensationalized it to get all of us to read it. I find myself looking at these articles and seeing who wrote them and if it's not one of the usual DUCK beat writers, I pass.- 12 replies

Hope Beck has been practicing his handoffs because we know Mario's penchant for those runs up the middle to show their physicality.

Best USC does cancel. Never a good look when there's less than 1500 people in the coliseum

Dan had to be a bit conflicted yesterday as we know he's a Chief's fan but that Philly defense has lots of his '21 Georgia guys on it.

Ruh-Roh! How LOW Can the Huskies Go?
Augduck replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Isn't it amazing how much time and energy Husky fans spend on Oregon???? Sort of like they are envious or something. I dunno. -
Ruh-Roh! How LOW Can the Huskies Go?
Augduck replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
This guy has done stuff like this before. Apparently, he thinks it's humorous, and has anyone seen any of his writing? He claims to be a PNW football writer. I think this is a burner account for some other pathetic husky fan who just can't deal with his Oregon envy. -
Oregon Ducks RB Coach Ra'Shaad Samples to Turn Down Dallas Cowboys Job

But could working for Jerry be better than the things cited above? -

Not sure he has a gig at the moment. His son is at ASU but pretty sure he is not on staff there. -

I was listening to ESPN the other day and one of the pundits posited that Schottenheimer is a one year coach. His take was Jerry missed on the top tier coaches this year and will see who becomes available next year and likely dump Schottenheimer. So the net is whomever gets the job , maybe it's short term. Who really knows what Jerry is thinking. -
Michigan Scandal: This Is Gonna Be Juicy!
Augduck replied to Intravenus de Milo's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
The NCAA will move at their usual glacial pace so this should be resolved by 2048. It took them 4 years to figure out the Willy Lyles thing and this is way more complicated so resolution in 23 years seems reasonable. -
Knowles is Moving to Penn State, Becomes Highest Paid Coordinator
Augduck replied to 30Duck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
There may have been a tell on this yesterday at the tOSU celebration. Day called out the current safeties coach Matt Guerrieri (sp) as 'one of the brightest young minds in college foitball'. Guessing he would not bring in Hampton as it might cost him Guerrieri. Ryan Day Names One of the 'Brightest Minds' in College Football at National Championship Celebration - Athlon Sports -

And if Chip jumps to the NFL Day might promote Hartline since he seems well respected and has surfaced as an HC candidate a few times. If Day was not willing to.fire Johnson to placate Knowles then you have to wonder if Day promotes him to DC. Just random thoughts, nothing else. -

I can't access the article because it's behind a pay wall but Hampton's name has surfaced -
Word is he is not well liked at all by coaching industry peers -FWIW

Supposedly Knowles is locked in BUT there are rumors Chip is interested in the OC job at Tampa Bay. Remember Chips first daliances with the NFL was with Tampa Bay -
Honest question, who cares?

Yes and a number of them were at the Rose Bowl clad in green and yellow. The pitchfork crowd was present and accounted for unfortunately in Jan. 1
