Not related to the award itself, but did you catch Mario when they did the Cam Ward segment? First off, he said Ward was the greatest player he ever coached. I get he’s not going to go on there and laud any others but he certainly could have tried to be a bit more eloquent (yeah I know Mario and eloquent are rarely in the same sentence) but he was just bad. And his demeanor is always like he just heard the worst possible news. The guy never smiles. So glad that guy is gone.

Of course he does because it means more face time on TV for him.

Mario was star struck but some who know recruiting said he was average at best in high school.

And the fan base is equally as salty. In case you missed it Oregon held on every play, committed PI nonstop, and had illegal men downfield all night long. Also, Abdul Carter was held every play thus was unable to perform at his usual level.😂

100% correct. He shut it down right after he had a chance to.observe things from a team culture perspective shortly after he arrived and it was seriously lacking. Even though our old friend Mario talked a big game about culture and family neither existed according to people with direct knowledge . His comment was during that time out they are trying to coach guys up and IF the Ducks are winning then they can have fun with Shout.
