I am not sure we have enough data points on Dante at the moment. We've only seen glimpses of Novosad and nothing I recall of Moga so this certainly leads to questions for sure.
We know they are doing everything to preserve Dante's redshirt so not sure how much real game time experience he gets and the fact they are preserving the red shirt MAY mean something.
Maybe one of the aforementioned hits the portal. I have no insights at all but I would be surprised if Dante were to hit the portal again.
Lots of grist for the mill since the portal opens in a few weeks.

I would not be surprised to see Whittingham walk away this year. I think he is at that point . Just my casual observation.

I honestly DO NOT care if Oregon is #1, #2, or #3. I feel they deserve #1, Camp Randall has taken out some worthy opponents! My pride and love of OBD wants them to be #1.
My brain reminds me of the desired endgame and says "They are in the B10CG! Beat the Woof-Woofs in two weeks and they are 100% in the playoffs no matter what"
So I assume the assessment of ‘underperforming’ was determined based on their experience from last year? They were ‘underperforming’ last year when they were 11-0?

I lost count after the 275,000th time they showed Steve Belichick on the sidelines in the first quarter. Hopefully they were able to continue throughout the rest of the game.
Had to switch over to the Christmas movie on Hallmark channel.

I saw a wild internet post yesterday (we all know EVERYTHING on the internet is true) and someone posited that Jerry was interested in Dan and would pay whatever it took to get him.

Dan and Don James in the same sentence caused me major anxiety at first pass. Then I read the article.
Dan is far more decent that Don James ever was. Rich Brooks would agree too.

Well, he did say in his post game presser that there might have been a lack.of focus so what better way to get the team on track than to eliminate any and all distractions.

He is clearly the one coach from the Saban tree who.learned nothing from Nick. Seems Kirby, Sark, Lane and Dan sure did though.

Dan had some fun with James Crepea last night during his presser.
James asked about the last TD and Dan said he was sure DUCK fans were appreciative. He then commented "I know James was one of those guys that got excited. I got your back James".
James retorted " I never wager on sports".
Dan replied 'good to hear. I'd say that's a safe decision all the time'.

I recently read an interview with the OS pres and by all accounts she is a very smart person. She is a mechanical engineer and reading some of the research she has done is quite impressive. BUT, (you knew this was coming) in an interview a couple of months ago with John Canzano he asked her about more effective marketing of OS athletics. He made the casual comment that the school 40 miles away has done a pretty good job of that. Her comment, 'you mean Western Oregon'????
I get the attempt at humor but given their situation it came off dumb and classless.

I normally always want a coach who was at Oregon to succeed, exception being Taggart for obvious reasons, but Mario is clearly on 'my list' now of 'I could care less how he does'.
He is very full of himself right now and kudos to him for landing Cam Ward because had he not, he'd be lucky to be .500 right now IMO.

I for one am really glad to see this. Everyone was after Terry big time the first few games.
He is young but has a great mentor in Mike Cavanaugh. That was a very wise move on Dan's part to bring in Cavanaugh to help Terry out.

Same here- hard to say it but Penix did deserve it.
DeBoer just did not do as good of a job of campaigning for Penix as Kelly did for Daniels. And remember Kelly kept Daniels in games when they were way out of reach so he could pad his stats.

My $.02 assessment- Mario is very insecure. Remember Nick did strip him of his assistant head coach title at Alabama for a reason. Don't know specifically why and water under the bridge now but there was a reason.

If Day loses to Penn State the calls to Mayflower could commence.
Was talking to some very nice tOSU fans before the game in Eugene and one of them commented that 'the rumors' in Columbus are that a major part of the reason Day brought Chip in was because IF Day does get fired he would look to go to the NFL and take Chip with him. These fans commented that they have heard Day is getting tired of the 'BS' and the fan base in Columbus. Fact or fiction, who knows but none the less interesting.
