  1. This post, and these comments, put a big smile back on my face. I was primed to immerse myself in the games today. I might have even skipped a birthday party… where, at said birthday party, someone asked me if Texas was winning, and, I had completely forgot that it was even on. The L was painful, and the sting hasn’t worn off, yet, but it’s good to know that I’m not alone.
  2. Hard to imagine that it was a result of last night’s game. I wonder if we’re about to hear about a transfer commit?
  3. These big game losses hurt. 0-3 to uw. We wasted the entire 1st quarter, managed to win the middle 8, then collapsed. Burch going out on the first series was a killer for our D. But, we got out coached all the way around. Why did we onside kick with 2:14 and all 3 timeouts? Why? Im heart broken.
  4. Going to be a good game next weekend. Utah looks very Utah, and Barnes played really tough football, tonight. Oh, and Vaki is ridiculous. We can’t afford to be asleep at the wheel to start off against the Utes, or they’ll make us pay.
  5. Thought it was interesting, and he’s definitely not just there to watch football. I really wanted to see him succeed at Nebraska, and I wouldn’t hate it if he came back to help with the offense!
  6. The Tebow pickle jar commercial took some of the sting out, for me. Tough loss.
  7. The calls have been mostly absent. I’d say it’s favoring Washington at the moment. I hope the refs don’t choose to insert themselves on ticky-tack calls against the Ducks, because that would be criminal.
  8. He’s so fun to watch! That energy comes straight through the screen, and I need more of it!
  9. I can’t be the only one wondering what uniforms are going to match those cleats, right? I hope my imagination isn’t getting the best of me…
  10. I dislike Willie as much as any Duck fan. However, that dude got the last laugh, and is still laughing with as much money as he made. And he’s now a position coach in the NFL?
  11. BOOOOM Huge get. I believe the difference in the D, between this last season, and next, is going to be a visible one. Is it still supposed to be Christmas???
  12. This is awesome!!! What Charles may or may not drop tonight, as a result, will also be awesome!!
  13. I watched the game where he took those back to back hits, fracturing his rib cartilage. I already loved Herbert, but the grit that he showed, the rest of that game… man, my admiration went to another level. He’s a dude. I agree, if they can protect him, he’s going to cement a special legacy!
  14. I saw this great video on Herbert, tonight. I did a quick search to see if it had already been posted, and couldn’t find it. Check it out, and if it doesn’t put a smile on your face… we can’t be friends The Ultimate Competitor
  15. If Lanning wants him, I do too! Let’s get this new year’s party started!!
  16. Today has been fantastic, either way. Admittedly, I was bummed about the Moore flip. The doomer conversations that ensued all over the internet were tough to read. But, what a turn of events!!! It’s a fun day to be a Ducks fan.
  17. Herbert is going to win a ring. I don’t know when, but I feel it.
  18. Just want to add one moore thing… how awesome will it be to sit behind, and learn from, a LEGIT Heisman contender in 2023? I’m excited for whoever that ends up being, current Duck, or not.
  19. Completely agree with number 1. As for number 2, it isn’t a foregone conclusion, however likely, but… I’ll take a known Heisman contender over a 5* question mark, all day. I was bummed to see the Moore to UCLA news, and felt it had more to do with the incoming coordinator. But, if his decision was based off of the staff letting him know that Nix was coming back, he can go play at UCLA, or anywhere else for that matter. It’s obviously important to be able to develop talent, as a progrum, but that has to come with kids who are ok with the possibility of sitting out, while developing. If a true freshman refuses to go to a team where he isn’t a shoe-in as a starter - don’t let the doore hit you on the way out.
  20. Sometimes we forget, these players are just kids. They come from all walks of life, and not all of them have advisors that filter what they say. That being said, I laughed at his message, good for him. We’ve all seen how Leach can be a complete idiot. Would I have done the same thing? Probably not. Is he going to get swooped up? Of course he is. This isn’t going to hurt his on-field production in the slightest… unless he gets picked up by OBD and is stashed behind our three-headed monster backfield…
  21. DJU enters the chat… Don’t love it, but it’s a possibility. He struggled at Clemson. Maybe a fresh start would do him some good? This story sounds familiar. Haha!
