Report: Former TCU defensive lineman Damonic Williams will visit Oregon

DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM

Former TCU defensive lineman Damonic Williams will visit Oregon, along with five other schools, sometime this spring as he looks for a new home.

The future at safety could potentially be elite if Woodyard comes to Oregon and lives up to expectations alongside Aaron Flowers.

USC Trojans' Bear Alexander Interested in Transfer To Oregon Ducks?

USC Trojans defensive tackle Bear Alexander decided to redshirt in the middle of the season. The Oregon Ducks and coach Dan Lanning are one of the schools Alexander is interested in transferring to, according to a report.

This is the new era of name, image, likeness and the transfer portal, players deciding for themselves to redshirt (only allowed once) instead of a coach decidin

Not bullish on Bear.

I don't think Bear has the personality that Dan Lanning covets.

Interesting line here...

"Alexander is most-interested in: the Alabama Crimson Tide, Georgia Bulldogs, LSU Tigers, Michigan Wolverines, Oklahoma Sooners, Texas Longhorns and Oregon, according to a report from Blue Bloods Bias. "

He was already with Georgia... I doubt Smart wants him back.

It's unlikely Lanning wants him either.

LOL. I was excited about Oregon potentially signing a TCU DT transfer and then the next post I saw was that Harmon was considering the Ducks....

Too bad portal guys that come to the Ducks fade into obscurity and regret their decisions. Oh wait, that's what happens at SUC my bad! Actually, portalling over to the Ducks usually pays off with increased exposer on the national stage and moving them up the draft rankings.

The next "Tez" from a smaller school?

Mr. FishDuck

I'm glad we have Dan on this... Because frankly all these transfer possibilities is horribly overwhelming.

And the hardest part is that it's such a short period of time to keep track of everything. At least with normal recruiting you get to know the names over 2ish years.

If anyone can turn Alexander into an asset Coach Lanning and staff would be able to do it.

A name that previously expressed interest in the Oregon Ducks is Bear Alexander, recently of the USC Trojans. Now that the transfer portal is open, the 6-foot-3

Texas Longhorns Receiver Johntay Cook II To Transfer To Oregon Ducks Over Texas A&M?

The Oregon Ducks are reportedly one of the teams to watch in the transfer portal for former Texas Longhorns receiver Johntay Cook II. Will Oregon's Dan Lanning land Cook over the Texas A&M Aggies?

The transfer portal officially opened on Monday, and the Oregon Ducks are reportedly a team to watch for a player they've been connected to since his high schoo

I believe that if DL thinks that we need Bear & Cook he will make sure they will fit into our culture, that is my only concern.

With Mensah signing with Duke does this mean Thompson will start in their bowl game?  That will give me a reason to watch it.

Just reported that TE/WR Duce Robinson at U$C has entered the portal. He had OBD on his final list before committing to the Trojenz. 5 stars out of HS. Got to believe that DL/WS will have some interest here..

Duce had a solid year in LA with 396 yds on 23 receptions. Also plays baseball. At 6'6" 225 he could easily add 15# to be a solid TE along with Sadiq.

Dan Lanning has moved quickly on two transfer portal targets already. It would appear he might be closing in on a third with a mid-week visit expected for one of the top offensive tackle prospects in the transfer portal.

Moments ago On3’s Hayes Fawcett reported Nevada offensive tackle Isaiah World is down to three schools. Along with Oregon he is considering Texas A&M and Nebraska.
