Charles Fischer Administrator No. 1 Share Posted November 9 I noticed in last week's telecast vs Michigan that twice they posted the B1G rankings, and although Oregon and Indiana were tied in B1G record and total record...they put Indiana ahead of the No. 1 team in the nation? I figured there must be a reason beyond my sensibilities... But today in the telecast of Michigan vs Indiana....they started the telecast again with showing both with undefeated records and putting Indiana ahead of Oregon in the B1G standings? Why would they do that? You can't say that "because it is an Indiana-centric" telecast today, because they did it last week when it was an Oregon telecast. They just cannot yet accept the new power at the table? Mr. FishDuck

Before today's Indiana vs Michigan game, Indy had and still has, no wins vs. a PO CT. top 25 team. OBD has two. Both OBD and Indy have 2 redular season games left. So, just because you are following another team does not mean you are paranoid, so I "believe" it's the alphabet at play. For OBD to be 10-0 was preseason expected. For the Football Hoosiers to be 10-0, first time in Indy football history, not so much. Google It. FWIW, I expect the Hoosiers will be hosed in Columbus on 11/23 by three or more TDs. And OBD will be bucking up against the Buckeyes in Indianapolis on what I hope will be a 2nd Day of Infamy for tOSU on 12/7/24. In its wins this season, Ohio State has given up 64 points. In the loss to OBD, Ohio State surrendered 32 points

Michigan, with no semblance of offense, lost by 5 at Indy. tOSU has an offense, and is bigger, faster and will control the trenches against Indiana.

Putting Orji in at this point for them is a signal they are going to run the ball exclusively and not even consider a pass. His fumble led to Indiana scoring and that was the difference. With that said... First time this year when I've seen a common opponent between Oregon and Indiana and didn't feel bad about Oregon's win. Indiana beat Michigan State by more than we did and has broken 40 regularly this year. Meanwhile we still have only done it... Once.

In the others, playing the big picture game, longer season, scoring 40 wasn't a priority.

30Duck Moderator No. 21 Share Posted November 11 Alphabetical order, fine. Back in the day when there were newspapers, and they had the scores of games in them, They would look like this: Oregon 39 Maryland 18. Again, okay, a quick glance might be all the time you have at the moment. But at the bottom of the page was this: Winning Team in BOLD. Really?
