If the coaching staff thinks he'll be a good fit, then he'll a good fit.

The culture around Oregon and Lanning is super strong. I'm sure if Lanning thinks he can be a strong edition to the team he'll shape up to play.

If he doesn't he'll be gone before the spring portal window closes.

I think DL knows him more than most from their Georgia days so there must be enough there to at least kick the tires on the possibility of him becoming another Jordan Burch.

Welcome aboard or hard pass, I’m fine with whatever Danimal decides.

ON3 now predicting Alexander to OBD. The optics of his departure from U$C looked bad at the time but the subsequent Trojenz fire sale to the portal perhaps puts it in perspective.

If DL and Tosh feel that he can fit the culture, then that is the way it is.

Absolutely, Lanning will be on top of this.  I will say that Bear did show potential on the field at GA, but he apparently didn’t fit.  Who knows?  You can’t blame a kid for chasing money if that was indeed the case.  Maybe he is ready to get down to tacs and will be a great fit in Eugene?  I truly hope so.

This is the way! For you Mando fans.

I would make all NIL deals dependent on performance.

That is the complete opposite of what NIL is...

But in Dan we trust with who he wants to bring into his program! Not sure how I feel about Bear's Georgia tattoo...

I love it, this is the way!!!  Bear is absolutely an exceptional talent.  I wish we could have kept him at GA.  I wouldn’t be surprised if he pays big dividends at Oregon.  Well done CDL if this works out.

Well, yes and no. The Name, Image, and Likeness of guys who perform are a lot more valuable.

Michael Jordan's contract with Nike hauled in a lot more money for him than mine did for me.

Ewers was on Fanville because he was a lot more well known than Ty Thompson... and I think that was mostly because of performance on the field.

Bear should certainly have a lot of motivation next season - he is playing to improve his NFL draft stock.

Doesn't DL have one too? I think it's a life journey thing.

Bear got caught in an Oregon bear trap.

This will be interesting to watch develop.

In DanL we trust. Go Ducks.

We'll, there ya go. He's now a Duck.

I seriously doubt this becomes a 'massive headache' for the program.

If BA becomes a distraction, Lanning and the staff have shown they know how to minimize that.

If Alexander chooses that path, the NIL $$$ will be the most noticeable loss.

Should BA prove to be a decent contributor and teammate, OBD win again!

I think back to usucs horrible defense in the past probably driving the big bear nuts and was extremely frustrating for a man of his talents.

Im sure Tosh and Dan will straighten him out if anyone can. We will need him in the trenches next season and I’m glad we got him.

 Go 🦆🦆🦆s

(Not so) Bold prediction: Trojan wire will write a mid-season (complaint) article about Bear turning his narrative around after looking like an all conference d-lineman and possible early round NFL pick next year. The talent is there, but defensive coaching (and holding players responsible for performance) at SC is minimal at best. If Bear wants to f*** around, he'll do it on the bench if not from his living room couch.

My initial thoughts were, “Not interested.”

But if Dan Lanning sees something, then hard to argue.

Just hope it’s not a move due to lack of better options.
