30Duck Moderator No. 1 Share Posted Monday at 04:43 PM His trash talk? It's kinda weak. "The way that last one ended doesn't sit right with me... I'm just thankful for the opportunity that we get another crack at them." Will Howard and the Ohio State Buckeyes are already trash talking the Oregon Ducks AUTZENZOO.COM The Ohio State Buckeyes won in the first round of the College Football Playoffs. Augduck No. 2 Share Posted Monday at 04:52 PM I am sure Dan will share this with the team. You know like the manager at the team meeting who brings everyone up to date on all the 'company activity' .
David Marsh No. 3 Share Posted Monday at 06:37 PM Though the Buckeyes have managed to reshuffle their offensive line they didn't have to deal with Jordan Burch. We'll see how that works out for them.

The Kamikaze Kid Moderator No. 5 Share Posted Monday at 07:46 PM This may be the truest statement I've seen in sports. The way the game ended doesn't sit right with the guy actually sitting on his a$$ with the ball when the game ended. 1 1
GeotechDuck No. 6 Share Posted Monday at 07:52 PM I don’t really see any issue with what he said. He’s pissed they lost and essentially, he didn’t get down soon enough. That wouldn’t sit right with me either and I would want a second chance at it. 1

Sandy Rocks No. 8 Share Posted Monday at 08:38 PM Oregon is going to be a thorn in Ohio State's side for many years to come and they better deal with it. Like get out of the way "deal with it." I am sure they have regretted many times letting Oregon join the BIG. 2

At least Once + Hopefully Twice This Season as the Sun Sets on The San Gabriel Mountains and tosu's $20M. tOSU just defeated a Tennessee team that defeated 3-loss Bama in (Hard) Knoxville, lost to the SEC Leader of the SEC Pack, Georgia, and Couldn't Bring the Bacon back from Arkansas. The margin of victory surprised me but not the win itself. So much of these mega-conference schedules come down to the teams you hit and the teams you miss. I want UGA to kick the whey out of the Domers. I believe our UGA OBD friends will agree that this was simply not a vintage season for the SEC. In the preseason I didn't get the 2024 SEC schedule. The disparity in the SEC conference SOS was ridiculous. It's the best conference in the nation but Not Every Team in the SEC is All That. It should be easy for an SEC fan as it is for an outsider like Moi to divide the conference into quadrants and not give the Lead Sled Dawg a ridiculous conference slate. How would OBD and TOSU have done against UGA's schedule? But That was Yesterday. ON 1/1/25 Put the BUST in Title or Bust Busteyes + Then UGA, Doom the Domers! UGA, follow OBD in paving the way, but for another tough hurdle, for a rematch in The ATL! This time, Dan has some half-decent players.
Ktmguy2018 No. 10 Share Posted Tuesday at 12:22 AM Interesting that most analysts are picking Ohio State. I guess it depends on which version of that team shows up on whether it will be a game or not.

It would be bold to pick Oregon to sweep osu2, they just saw osu2 destroy Tennessee...so they pick osu2. Just like they did last time.

He didn’t say anything that any other QB might also have said. 1
Joe F No. 16 Share Posted yesterday at 01:15 AM The Ducks have beaten them at their house, (without our best pass-rusher) The Ducks have beaten them at our house, (without our best pass-rusher) I wonder how they will fare in the Rose Bowl when that pass-rusher is available? Oh, Mr. Howard, This is Muhammad Jabbar, I don't believe you met at the Autzen Game. I'm sure you'll be seeing him at the rose bowl. Enjoy. Go Ducks! 1
HappyToBeADuck No. 17 Share Posted 23 hours ago I cant really support that Howard was trashtalking the Ducks..... He wants redemption. Wouldn't you want your QB and team leader laser focused on another shot at the #1 team in the nation? Last year, as fans we supported Bo and his teammates as they tirelessly worked to get the rematch with the fuskies in the PAC12 CCG. How and why is it different for those over confident, arrogant, self entitled Buckeyes? osu2 borg collective never, never, never considered that they would lose to the Ducks... From the time they left Eugene, the Buckeyes changed their defensive schemes, shored up the loss of 2 NFL caliber O Lineman and circled the BIG CCG game on their calender. The Rose Bowl isn't the only prize, nor is the right to reach the semi finals Both teams are playing for their position as the dominant power in the BIG. OBD's took from osu2 what the Buckeyes felt was theirs by right. Make no mistake osu2 is on a mission and OBD's are in their way. The game will be epic! Either team can win and either team can lose. This game is on the grandest stage of all. AND The loser has to live with the consequences until their fortunes cross again..... GO DUCKS..... 1 2
