Who's Your Favorite TV Dog?

Recommended Posts

You can vote for Lassie, or maybe the dog from The Brady Bunch, or some other canine you believe merits recognition. My two finalists are two who "battled" it out on NBC in the 90's.

Eddie, from "Frasier"

Favorite Eddie moment? 🐶👮‍♀️

or "Murray" from "Mad About You"

Kind of obscure mention here but I nominate that poor dog just wanting to get fed in this show.....

* His name is Arnold btw

The new Superman film looks to have Krypto in it. If it were movies I'd pick him or Beethoven.

The Heeler Family... From Bluey!

First off I have two girls and I have seen all the Bluey. Beyond that Bluey is more than a kids show. If you have Disney+ it's worth watching just a little bit... And you'll be hooked.

Also my family is the Bluey family it feels right now.

I gotta go with my childhood favorites of either Scooby Doo or Snoopy!

As far as non-animated?  There are so many, Rin Tin Tin maybe?

She is in her 30s now, but when my daughter was growing up..."we" watched cartoons together often. I would even pause and we would discuss or laugh at something, hence my occasional reference to Spongebob Squarepants of which we watched a TON.

But Rocko's Modern Life was another that we enjoyed.

An Aussie accent dog and his sidekicks...

And who can forget..."Mr. BigHead!"

Rocko was great fun, and like Spongebob...there were tons of jokes

that a child would never understand, thus written to make ME laugh

(They succeeded)

When Cristobal was here....he named a son "Rocko," and while the explanation given was after this friend, "the Rock,".....I thought of the cartoon my daughter and I watched together and enjoyed...hmmmm.

Yes!

I also have two girls, and we relate to Bluey in a way unlike any other show. It's as much for parents as it is for kids. Sometimes we laugh out loud and tear up in the same episode. Such an amazing show.

Did you want to be 'Rusty' when you were a kid?

I look more like Sergeant Biff O'Hara, these days!

While he only made a cameo, Kramer's dog Smuckers left an impression on me. I always wonder if he got rid of that nasty cough.
