JB89 No. 3 Share Posted Sunday at 03:27 PM (edited) This link has a graphic explaining how the APR rates are calculated. If I'm understanding the rules correctly it is impossible to get a perfect score of 1000 if you have any players that transfer. Even if the player is academically eligible when they transfer the school only receives 1 of 2 possible points. With the current transfer portal rules, how does any team get a perfect score? Fitnessczar No. 5 Share Posted Sunday at 09:47 PM (edited) Yeah from what I can tell you are penalized for having more students transfer out than transfer in. My guess is this will have to be adjusted at some point to actually understand how the student athletes are doing academically. Nevada Dawg No. 12 Share Posted 21 hours ago Hey, we are now in the lower-level (minor league) pro football days where 75% of the rosters are majoring in Football and everything else is a nuisance that is tolerated to stay eligible. I don't think the performance of paid athletes has any real implications for the quality of educations that universities provide for their general student bodies anymore. 1
