It is a crucial set of games that will determine whether or not Our Beloved Ducks make the College Football Playoffs. Yesterday at 11:41 AM1 day No. Charles, great analogy referencing the ancient Rocky movies, themes and life lessons.I support all your comments and strong view points. Especially how well DL and staff prepare themselves and the players after a loss. They do take care of business and beat the teams they should beat. The one exception is the let down loss to Beavus in DL's first season. There never is nor ever will be an excuse to lose to the rodents........In the IU game I expected the Ducks to be Clubber Lang and demolish the Hoosiers. That game should be a wake up call for the Ducks. It would be great to have a rematch in the CFP.I feel, as you do that we win that rematch.Go Ducks.......
Yesterday at 12:18 PM1 day Moderator No. Thank you, Charles. I'm fired up and ready to watch OBD Give Us Fans Five! And while the loss to the Hoosiers hurts, it could work out perfectly for the Ducks. As we are painfully aware, last season playoff teams with lengthy byes went 0-4. The ultimate champ got off the mat after what would have been, in prior seasons, an end-of-the-season devastating loss, and won the whole enchilada. Looking down the road, all three of Oregon, Indiana, and Ohio State will be favored to win their last five games in the 2025 regular season. This happens, and OBD gets to take a nap on December 6th instead of playing a 13th game in Indianapolis. Let the Hoosiers and Buckeyes club one another in the mouth until they're both Rocky (sorry) while OBD, like Notre Dame, plays one fewer game against a Power 2 team before hosting a 1st round playoff game. At 11-1, OBD should host either the 12 or the 11 seed. Win this game and move on, with winning momentum, to play the third or fourth seed in the 2nd round. Recent bye-byes have not been good for OBD. Let's play ball at home in Round 1. Thanks also for highlighting the contributions of the newbies. It is so good to see highly rated recruits come in ready to ball out. And notwithstanding the indecisive play versus Indiana, hats off to the coaching staff for blending in portal players who are making an impact. Today's CFB is all about successful roster management.GO DUCKS - Wax Wisconsin!PS - Might I humbly inquire, what in Hades does a 'full spectrum live resin dab' look like, and do I need one in my aquarium? 😁

Yesterday at 05:11 PM1 day Moderator No. It is time for Oregon’s talent to shine. The team is well equipped to compete at a high level. Defensive coordinators will be looking at duplicating Indiana’s blueprint of pressuring the QB, and negating our run game. Therefore, QB play is the wild card in this game of pain plan. If Dante can remain patient, and not get rattled, then he has the talent surrounding him that get opposing coaches fired.

Yesterday at 09:21 PM1 day No. At least 1% better every day. The Ducks are being built for the games at the end of the season. This team has a lot left in their tank. Go Ducks!
23 hours ago23 hr No. This season has already brought so much joy, and surprise I’m already over my own “Hoosier hangover”. These coaches know how to recruit kids that “want to be great” every coach says that, but the proof is in the rep count on Saturdays. These players want to be coached hard because they know it is being done with a level of actual love. Weird when you think about it. This symbiotic coach/player relationship that has so many father/son parallels. This is what drives recruiting. The word of mouth from players about the reality of love/development that they get. The bells and whistles of facilities and uniforms and Nike are great don’t get me wrong, but football has always been, and will always be, a people/relationship business. GO DUCKS!!!
