Down goes Bama.

That actually may hurt the Ducks, if we drop another game. I’m rooting against all of the teams with 2-loses.

Ugh. Here comes the SEC narrative. Who wants to bet that both Oklahoma and Alabama are in front of the Ducks on Tuesday?

And if Texas beats Georgia? Get ready for the “6 teams deserve to get in” nonsense from the media talking heads.

I am thinking the very same thing.

If we drop another game all bets are off on a playoff berth. You just can't lose this late in the year outside of a conference champ game and expect a berth.

The formula hasn't changed with Bama's loss..Ducks just need to win . Our path to a better bid is open is the only thing opening up with the Bama loss.

I haven't really watched Texas this year until now. I have to say, Arch Manning's receivers aren't doing him any favors. Some really horrible drops on great throws.

Goin' to a BoBo everybody, Goin' to a BoBo now.

He's been slandered, libeled, called things that ain't in the Bible, but the game Mike Bobo called tonight and Smart's chops to go for it on 4th down and go with an onside kick after scoring with the game close in hand.

WOW! Georgia 35 - Texas 10 - No Sark, your 3-loss Horns do not belong in the PO.

Ole Miss 34 - Florida 24

He tried hard to blow the audition, but in the fourth act, Kiff didn't Miss his lines, as he swamped a Gator.

In 1887, the Indiana Hoosiers played their first football game.

138 seasons later, Indiana is 11-0 for the 1st time ever.

Keep them Cigs smoking! Is Curt Cignetti the best college football coach hire in the history of CFB?

He is a great hire to be sure. But before anointing him as the best hire ever, let's see him win something of significance first, lol.

Bobo has actually been calling great games all this year. And even one of his most severe critics. the founder of the Talk'n Dawgs blog, has come around and saluted the guy. An equally bad(actually worse) prognosticator, Paul Finebaum, predicted that the Dawgs would faceplant this year because Gunnar Stockton wasn't up to the task of guiding a first rate offense (he was all gaga over Arch Manning). I hope he watched the Georgia game tonight and issues a sincere apology to Gunner for his excellent guidance of that "substandard" offense on his Monday show. This guy is turning into an absolute clown IMHO.

ND, I am sticking with my preseason call. I know Bama has to lose 1 more, or Texas has to beat A&M, but I think the Dawgs find a way to Atlanta and win the SEC once again.

Or, if not, UGA is not a QB-injured 1-and-done PO team.

The talent is spread thinner, but the coaching from Kirby and crew, if anything, is better than when he roster-dominated all comers. (Well, maybe not Saint Nick.)

It saddens me to close in on the end of the regular season, but there is nothing like CFB in November.

WOOF! and QUACK!

I'd buy one but not both. We lost at home to the #2 team by 10 points, beat then ranked Iowa on the road and just blew out the Gophers.

Okie lost big at home to now out of it Texas and by 8 to Ole Miss. Beating Bama with Mateer having a so-so day will mean something, but not enough to leapfrog OBD.

The ES(EC)PN bias will come in with leaving Bama just above Oregon. They did squeak by Georgia at home, but also lost at home to a dismal FSU that lost at home to the 'Furd.

In a just universe devoid of Paaawl Finebaum, SEC bias and ESPN talking heads, the Ducks would be ranked above both. I'll be satisfied with splitting the difference.

Doesn't matter anyway as Oregon must win both remaining games to hopefully end up at the 6th seed sweet spot.

No.

Georgia impresses me as a tough, aggressive competitor able to make good on gutsy play calls at key moments. Their QB is a player, too. I thought Carson Beck was good but this Stockton guy has more fight in him by far. Georgia will be a tough out in the Playoffs.

THIS. Here we are, two games away from the end of the regular season. Shorts and T-shirts at Autzen have been replaced by Jeans/running pants/thermals and coats/sweatshirts.

That start-of-the-season feeling is something I wish I could bottle, but the end-of-the-season anticipation for what lies ahead is special also.

Agree. Oregon didn’t get any help yesterday, other than Georgia beating Texas. Now Oregon probably needs to win out to make it to the playoff, as we all know that any SEC team and ND with 2 losses will be above an Oregon team with two losses.
