16 hours ago16 hr No. I have read several articles that mention "If Dante Moore" goes to the NFL. Here is another article about Oregon being a possible destination for Dylan Raiola IF Dante leaves. Hoping Dante stays.I've only watched Raiola a few times, he seems pretty raw.https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/nebraska-qb-dylan-raiola-transfer-portal-oregon-5-star-recruit/
16 hours ago16 hr No. Who knows if he’s the one, but there will almost certainly be a top portal QB in play if Moore goes. Believe I read the last 4 Heisman winners have been transfers, 3 of them being QBs. Edited 16 hours ago16 hr by JabbaNoBargain
16 hours ago16 hr Moderator No. As always, I put my trust in Dan, but IMO, Raiola has done nothing at Nebraska to put him on OBD's radar.A better athlete, Florida's QB DJ Lagway, is headed to the portal, as is Cincinnati QB Sorsby, and Michigan State's Aiden Chiles. There will be many QBs to choose from. And portal deals will be made under the table by PO teams still in title contention. For next season, OBD, OL, DL, and LB positions may all be more important for OBD.
15 hours ago15 hr No. If Moore goes then I say bring a transfer in to compete. I definitely agree that Raiola has that raw look that Dante Moore had during his stint at UCLA. I am most curious as to how Lanning addresses QB development now that Stein is gone. Who will he bring in to be our next "QB whisperer"? This hire will definitely affect how attractive we look for potential transfers and recruits moving forward.

12 hours ago12 hr No. Sorsby may not be available for long... Guess I'll worry about if I see one of these portal puppies on the sideline or at bowl prep practice. Edited 12 hours ago12 hr by woundedknees
12 hours ago12 hr Moderator No. Watching Matt Ruhle's interview on B1G today, he didn't seem concerned about losing Raiola. One reason Raiola left was because of the play of the more athletic QB, LT Mateff. 59-95 passing, 722 yards, 4 TDs. Lateef may have been first in line for the 2026 QB job.Mateff is more athletic than Raiola. A better fit for what Ruhle and OC Dana Holgerson's O scheme. Bo Nix comparisons? Bo is a far better athlete than Raiola.
11 hours ago11 hr Moderator No. Raiola is the dude who imitates Patrick Mahomes to an obsessive degree. Same hair, same number, same mannerisms, etc. It wouldn’t surprise me if he transferred to Texas Tech.
11 hours ago11 hr Moderator No. Never watched Raiola play much. However, KLKN TV in Nebraska has a website poll that I found that asks fans whether the team is better off with or without him. With around 900 votes in…75% think they are better off without.Don’t let the door hit you type moment for the corn hat fans. Oregon has had a long run of NFL caliber QBs. Would love to see that run extended.
5 hours ago5 hr No. Apparently all the talk about Raiola to Oregon right now is fro Raiola and his agent. For him Oregon could be a great landing spot because of the magic Lanning has done with quarterbacks to rehab their careers. But if we are going for a transfer it will either be someone plug and play, closer to a Dillon Gabriel and Bo Nix or a Dante Moore type which is a sit a year and develop. I kinda doubt Raiola wants to sit a year and he is too raw of a talent to be a plug and play. Gabriel was proven and Nix needed a system, athletes, and coaches around him to elevate his potential.
3 hours ago3 hr Moderator No. Raiola isn't a good fit all around for Oregon. If Dante has privately told DL that he's leaving after the season I'd advocate for Sam Leavitt instead.
