Great analysis. I think one thing being over looked is the stage factor. This is OBD’s third NY6 bowl in a row under Lanning.

TT will be facing all the grandeur that comes with that for the first time. Also, the Ducks have gone on the road to Michigan last year as well as the PSU white out this year. TT has had nothing comparable.

Throw in the tooth and nail scrap with Indiana and the car wash rock fight at Iowa and I think the Ducks will be more battle tested and that will be the difference.

That was a refreshing and genuinely balanced analysis. Both of them raised strong points, and it was difficult to find fault with either perspective. I would welcome a deeper, more comprehensive breakdown, particularly from sources that approach the topic without bias.

We'll see what happens January 1st. I would agree with everything they said but who had the tougher competition throughout the year? Graded as the best D in the nation but was the offensive lines they faced one of the best in either the SEC or the B1G?

I wonder if our linebackers are up to the task?

Anyone more knowledgeable that myself with thoughts on this?

I’m not that guy, but I never underestimate the ‘chip on the shoulder’ motivation created for our LB room by being ignored by experts and media as they shine the spotlight on those well-deserving TT LBs.

Bryce Boettcher was second team all-B1G for the second year in a row.

Mixon has a underrated speed, I have heard.

Only made it about 1 minute after he said Texas Tech has the best D-line in America. Sorry not buying it.

Having the Best D is skewed when you play substandard opponents. One needs to compare as close to like for like to get a balanced view. How many points did Indiana get against us? How many points did Ohio State get against Indiana? And vice versa.
