Although a lost fumble by Miami stalled what looked like a promising drive.

0-0 so far. After 2 possessions, tOSU has 1 first down.

Looks like some serious rust on Bucknut's side. Offense out of sync and Sayin having some accuracy issues. Tackling a bit of a problem too. If Miami didn't have the dropsies they'd be up by a score as they are moving the ball well.

Miami is definitely "out-physicalitying" tOSU right now.

Miami scores on their third drive.

7-0

I had some other matters to attend to and JUST turned on this game. 7-0 Miami in the 2nd?? Really?? Where is OSU's offense??

No.

Call me crazy, but I wish we were playing tOSU next instead of TT. The B12 hasn't looked bad in bowl games with lowly TCU (who got steamrolled by BYU, who got steamrolled twice by TT) beating USC (which is one of our better wins) and Utah rolling today. Not sure tOSU is that great.

They have none so far.

The only first down came on a pass to Smith.

Miami is playing both sides well.

Miami flat out beating tOSU at the LOS, something Mari⁰ would call out-physicaling tOSU's physicality.

HOLY CRAP!!! Pick six by Miami.

And just like that they force Sayin to make a bad read on a screen and a pick-6. Miami 14-0.

Like Neil Young once sang, "Rust Never Sleeps". So great to see Bucknutt getting bit by it.

Started watching on ESPN2. Mac Affee was driving me and my spouse nuts. Fortunately we could change to ESPN and normal people talk.

The “Long-Layoff” monster just bit another! Hope Texas Tech gets a bite tomorrow…

If the bye teams get boat raced in the first half again this year, the pitchforks will be out for this schedule and we will moved to a 16 team schedule with no byes.

No.

The Buckeyes do look a bit lethargic like their opponent did last January 1st.

Probably not a good thing for the Ducks, it will catch the attention of Texas Tech.

No.

Could see a bit of trickeration from Mario like there was at the game in Columbus?

No.

Miami defense is straight hunting right now. tOSU better figure it out or this might get ugly!!! Miami defense front has more than a few boys that will start on Sundays!

No.

Seems if Mario has got tOSU's number...

With all due respect, that was last season. Texas Tech is the team that has had the long layoff this year, not Oregon.

Miami's stunts, shifts and blitzes are just discombobulating the tOSU O-line and confusing Sayin. The Bucknutt defense has finally stiffened up and is playing better, keeping them in it for now.

tOSU is getting done to them what they did to Oregon last year. Their fans are NOT happy on the forums!!

They are, but it also helps that they have a few dudes that are ridiculously good on the DL!!!

Is there any way that both of these teams can lose?

....Asking for a friend.

I’m excited, tOSU has the talent to get back into this! Second half could be very good football!!!

OMG!

tOSU missed a point blank FG attempt!

Is this the game that turns Day into Gonzo?

wow....Im amazed at how big AND fast, the Miami D lineman show.

This half of football for Mario is going to really help his recruiting and portal picks.

Small astroid hits the stadium.

I usually wish for this whenever UW2 and USC play.

You should watch the Miami/Florida game. That front door was g ferocious. I was pretty concerned about the Hurricanes from them until they lost to Louisville.

I wasn't sure which Miami team would show up today. I guess they've shown us.

Yeah,

Well see whether Bucknut fans about their Rose Bowl victory was the flex they bragged about all year.

That may have been a job saving TD by Jackson.

Perhaps TT gets a wakeup call by watching this tonight. That was the point. There was no similar experience for Ducks to witness during last season's first 12-Playoff.

The rust factor is no secret even before this first half, and how much can you do about it now? It's mental and physical and affects some more than others.

There is no guarantee Tech comes out off, but it is something that could be a factor, and certainly something they have to overcome moreso than us. And seeing yet another occurrence of it makes it all the more possible it does happen to TT.

Based on the pace of play, the time remaining, and the score this could come down to the wire. If that’s the case Mario is in trouble.

No.

Just have to wait for the run game to stop working so that Mario will forcibly try it up the gut every time.

No.

The refs not calling PI on Ohio is atrocious

No.

I know it's subjective, but I do think these CFP games have more "juice" than earlier bowl games. More, and more equally distributed talent, for the most part.

Can’t decide who to root for. On one hand it’s always fun to watch Mario blow it. On the other, it may be better for tOSU to go down now before building that playoff momentum we saw last year.

No.

#1 defense.... pshhh.

Up by 3 and 2 minutes left in the game. Will Mario finally manage the clock and run out the game or screw it up like he usually does?

No.

Makes you wonder how many Ohio State players got caught looking ahead to the draft.

No.

And just like that... Bye week teams still remain DEFEATED!
