  2. Dan Lanning says injured wideouts are getting 'closer' to return, offense will keep rolling either way The Ducks could see numerous receivers return for postseason play, Oregon coach Dan Lanning indicated. What would that do for this offense?
  3. It all depends on how far he takes the Ducks in the POs
  4. Haven't heard that much about backups. Smith has a year in system now.
  5. Bet he's got some hot tips, though!
  6. Never watched Raiola play much. However, KLKN TV in Nebraska has a website poll that I found that asks fans whether the team is better off with or without him. With around 900 votes in… 75% think they are better off without. Don’t let the door hit you type moment for the corn hat fans. Oregon has had a long run of NFL caliber QBs. Would love to see that run extended.

  8. Raiola is the dude who imitates Patrick Mahomes to an obsessive degree. Same hair, same number, same mannerisms, etc. It wouldn’t surprise me if he transferred to Texas Tech.

  10. Watching Matt Ruhle's interview on B1G today, he didn't seem concerned about losing Raiola. One reason Raiola left was because of the play of the more athletic QB, LT Mateff. 59-95 passing, 722 yards, 4 TDs. Lateef may have been first in line for the 2026 QB job. Mateff is more athletic than Raiola. A better fit for what Ruhle and OC Dana Holgerson's O scheme. Bo Nix comparisons? Bo is a far better athlete than Raiola.
  11. OK, call Bernie Madoff's Cell phone. 😁 But it's going to take a lot of soul to reach Bernie.
  12. Sorsby may not be available for long... Guess I'll worry about if I see one of these portal puppies on the sideline or at bowl prep practice.
  13. At tOSU, it would be "stickers for everyone!"

  15. The University of Michigan is now investigating its athletic department. Wonder if the AD makes it through the investigation given all of the scandals over the past few years and the impact on the hiring of their next football coach? What coach at a top program would you want to leave their job for the uncertainty surrounding the Michigan job? I still don’t understand how Michigan avoided severe sanctions. mliveMichigan athletics department under investigation: Is a c...The latest Wolverine Confidential podcast episode is available

  17. I guess if he doesn’t touch a dime for 40 years and is able to achieve an 8% average annual compound return over that time frame. Of course, then the $50M in guaranteed NFL money would be worth $700M+ based on those same assumptions… I guess we’ll see what Dante chooses but I know what I’d advise, if I were close to him and he asked me.
  18. Only Moore and Bryant Jr were participating per Crepea "Moore and Bryant each took reps on punt return while Stewart, who has been out all season, appeared to be limited while stretching and did not take any reps during the special teams period." Things could change of course. Still good news.

  22. If Moore goes then I say bring a transfer in to compete. I definitely agree that Raiola has that raw look that Dante Moore had during his stint at UCLA. I am most curious as to how Lanning addresses QB development now that Stein is gone. Who will he bring in to be our next "QB whisperer"? This hire will definitely affect how attractive we look for potential transfers and recruits moving forward.
  23. As always, I put my trust in Dan, but IMO, Raiola has done nothing at Nebraska to put him on OBD's radar. A better athlete, Florida's QB DJ Lagway, is headed to the portal, as is Cincinnati QB Sorsby, and Michigan State's Aiden Chiles. There will be many QBs to choose from. And portal deals will be made under the table by PO teams still in title contention. For next season, OBD, OL, DL, and LB positions may all be more important for OBD.
  24. As if JMU doesn'thave enough what if migraine inducing matchups with Oregon!
  25. They may all be ready to go, maybe some of them, but I would think , most of all it is Lanning saying to JMU, here are a few more things to think about and plan for.
  26. Timing on all these could be an issue if we make a deep run in the playoffs and Moore doesn't decide until later than these guys need to find their next landing spot. I'm sure Lanning will have that discussion with Moore.
