  2. Utah Texas Tech is one of the most poorly played games I have seen. I have heard good things about both QB's but they are making a lot of mistakes. I don't think I have ever seen Utah play so disjointed. 7-0 TT just before half
  3. How did Wisconsin -Maryland make ABC? Snooze fest...
  4. Dakorien Moore a go. Dakorien Moore available, Oregon makes multiple changes to its pregame availability report
  5. Tough to win when in today’s version of D1 football when you have no money to compete. Tough to pay bills when nobody wants to buy tickets to watch your imploding football program. Firing the coach sounds good, but you are hoping the new coach can sell season tickets, but still have no money for the new staff to recruit. Dismantling the football program when the state just floated $45 million in bonds on your stadium is not a good look for the rodents.
  6. I could see everyone around the program being done with Gundy. But if Gundy feels like he wants to stay it might be difficult to get rid of him. I don't know what his buyout is but if it's too high and he doesn't want to leave himself OK State might not be able to get rid of him at this time. With the Beavers in know they couldn't get rid of Mike Riley as every time he went 6-6 he got an automatic contract extension and his buyout effectively grew. Riley was a good enough coach to reach a bowl game almost every year so he seemed to do the Beavers a favor by opting to leave and go to Nebraska... Who paid them! Come to think of it Riley did the Beavers a big favor and it might have been intentional. He leaves and gets the Beavs out of his contract with a pay day from Nebraska. As for Gundy, it might take a few weeks if Ok State doesn't have the funds on hand right now to buy him out. They'll have to figure out where to get the money as many contracts require a substantial payout upon being fired.

  8. They should have fired him last year, but they still worship the guy and allowed him to fire everyone and take a pay cut. I’d be surprised if they fire him before he “resigns” at the end of the year. They aren’t serious about winning beyond making a bowl game imo.
  9. Slippery slope. I mean for anyone who is still into tracking high school kids two years from setting foot on campus, who am I to spoil your fun? I used to do the same thing. That being said, this is exactly why I don’t allow very much of my attention to be held by some random 16 year old. Executive summary for me 😆
  10. Like @idontrollonshobbas said, I don't even recall hearing about him committing to the Ducks. That said, I do miss a few things here and there. Likewise, I think I share the same sentiment as many. He was a 2027 commit anyway ... and a WR. SWSWSW His decommitting could be to facilitate a search for a larger bag, staying closer to home, still really fickle and no real buy in on the Ducks, or it could also be he is thinking he might have to compete a lot harder in Eugene for a WR1 or WR2 spot. Not saying that this his thought process, but if the shoe fits ... it reminds me of an old Ziglar quote, "if you think you are indispensable, put your finger in a bowl of water and then pull it out and see how long the hole lasts."
  11. A ton of very good games today to keep an eye on...
  12. Funny, but it WAS found in a closet at Mac Court...
  13. oregonliveOregon State Beavers mailbag: Is it time to abandon footb...Some spice and cynicism in the reader questions this week.https://www.oklahoman.com/story/sports/college/cowboys/2025/09/19/oklahoma-state-tulsa-game-score-updates-highlights-college-football/86243196007/ I watched the condensed version of the Tulsa game. The score does not reflect how much Tulsa dominated OSU. I knew they were bad, but they are worse than bad. Getting embarrassed by your runt little bro at home for the first time in 70 years is next level down stuff. I don't expect Gundy to survive the weekend let alone the week.
  14. Any commitment from a player that has never even visited the campus is about as firm as a bowl full of Jell-O.
  15. The Platypus Trophy keeps disappearing only to turn up again. I'm not a fan of this trophy, so hope that it gets stashed in some closet where no one finds it for a 100 years. 😉
  16. Ducks win big in this one 73-06 3 4 326
  17. Last time I did one of these I only predicted the Ducks would win by like twenty over another OSU, but that one was actually P4. Not to be confused with tOSU, the one in your conference. But this OSU is G6. They are terrible and Oregon has every reason to want to blow them out. My only concern is they might take the foot off the gas pedal because of the game next week. So I would pick a larger margin if I didn't feel Lanning wants to get his guys some rest heading into next week. Oregon goes up 42-0 in the first half. Dan puts in his backups and the Ducks end up winning 63-13. Beavis turns it over three times. The Ducks sack the Beavis QB four times. The Ducks pass for three hundred and ninety nine yards.
  18. GoDucks writer Rob Moseley gives 5 things to watch for during the game against Oregon State. University of Oregon Athletics5 Things To Watch: Oregon State - University of Oregon At...The Ducks host the Beavers in Autzen Stadium on Saturday (noon, Big Ten Network).
  19. I've never known the game as anything other than the civil war and never did see the connection to the carnage of 1861-1865. And truly, I know it is a rivalry game but if the 19th century civil war had been as one-sided as this year's game appears to be, it would have been over after the first battle of Bull Run (and there would have been no second).
  20. Ducks win 54 to minus 7 (Beavers so bad they score a negative touchdown) 2 TO 3 Sacks 179 pass yards
  21. 2027, and receiver? No problem...
