  2. "On the other side, I’m not taking away from anything they did. They played almost flawlessly. I mean, that quarterback is unbelievable. The throws he made tonight, tremendous throws. Those are Heisman-like throws,” Fleck said."
  3. Last night, No. 20 Louie Louie's playoff hopes just had to go. Dabo 20 - Louie 19
  4. Exhibit A of why only 3 P4 teams had less than 2 losses in last years’s bracket. Long season.
  5. Jon Joseph put a stat up the other day that TAMU has played noby with something like opponents combined record is like 13-30. Getting exposed can happen at that point.
  6. Wow, I guess you still have to show up and play the game. Makes last nights resounding win (with a flock of Duck starters out with injuries) all the more impressive. Keep Going Ducks!
  7. Who figured on a Pitt WR having hands of steel? Pitt should have scored on its 1st possession. ND 21 Pitt 3 at halftime. Thanks, Grandpa, for getting this discussion going. Let's consolidate this topic if possible.
  8. What in the world is going on with A&M? I haven't watched any of the game yet but A&M is playing at home down 30-3. Anyone know if there's some major injuries that have happened to A&M?

  10. Former Oregon WR recruit Harbor scored a 80+ yard TD for the Cocks.
  11. One reason I watched it all the time was to hear Joey Harrington's take on things. This year, no Joey.
  12. Interception and field goal. 30 - 3 SC
  13. South Carolina leading Texas A & M 27-3 with less than a minute in the half.
  14. SC just scored again. This is not AtMs day.
  15. Absolutely, good throws and he would have had longer TD passes. Great grabs bailed him out. There have been a least 3 other finger tip catches this year that could have easily been drops. A little more air under the ball please when a receiver is out in the open. Not surprised by the score. I thought we should be in the 40's and was hoping for 10 max by gophers.
  16. 14-3, Notre Dame over Pitt with five minutes left in the second quarter.

  18. A bit off subject... but I doubt we lose to Indiana again should we get the chance.
  19. 7-3, Michigan ahead of Northwestern with five minutes left in the second quarter.
  20. I remember waking up, laying in bed, listening to the radio and hearing the announcement of Dennis Erickson going to Oregon State. My first thought was, "That's got to be a mistake news story." And although he wasn't there very long, they certainly won some football games in 2001. The only one they lost was at Washington by 3. And although, I naturally can't stand the Beavers, I loved seeing them absolutely dismantle Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl. Agreed that if the playoff existed, they very possibly could have won the whole thing.
  21. Think we root for getting as highly ranked as possible imo. TAM currently down big. Go team chaos.
  22. From a conference and playoff strategic standpoint, are we rooting for indiana?
  23. Wisconsin just tied it up vs. Indiana, 7-7.
  24. I doubt that any of us are surprised that we won the game, but I am extremely pleasantly surprised at how complete of a game we played... especially considering the injuries that we have. Once again, our defense was excellent. If I'm looking at it right, our D has only given up an average of 1.5 TDs per game, and many of those came late in the game during garbage time. And although we're talking about Minnesota, I am still very impressed with our run game. OBD put up about 180 yds, while averaging 6 yds per carry. Given that Dante was throwing the ball so ridiculously well, and all over the field, we really didn't need more yards out of our run game last night. I loved seeing our tight end studs getting the ball so often. I was impressed that Dante was quite often looking off the defense, and not locking on to one primary receiver. When he does this, and when he has time to do this, he is quite dangerous for our opponents. He also had some fakes that were, frankly, spectacular. And when he chose to run, he chose well. We have a very good team. But I'm still a bit confused by them. But if they continue to gel over the next two weeks and win out, and we get some players back, I think we could make a very interesting run in the playoffs.
  25. I was pleasantly surprised to see how deep our wide receiver room and tight end room truly are.
  26. Below are my initial observations: • Dante Moore was spectacular (90% completion rate on 30 passes for over 300 yards and 2 TDs). He was a little off early in the game and his receivers picked him up with some spectacular catches. As RGIII said, tonight he made all of the throws. Hopefully this gives him some confidence, after a few miserable weather games, heading down the final stretch. • Kenyon Sadiq and our receivers. Wow. That’s all I can say. They made some spectacular catches - diving, in traffic, dragging their toe to stay in bounds. I can’t wait until we start getting healthy but everyone stepped up tonight and showed that they can ball out. • The defense played extremely well, as always but still has some room to improve to be considered elite. For example, the one Minnesota TD drive where they got burned for some chunk yards against really good calls against the defense formations (e.g., the run to the side we blitzed from). The one field goal was on our offense as they turned it over on our side of the field. Our secondary needs to start picking the ball off. • Why were the Minnesota players chirping against a superior team and down a few TDs? I just don’t understand it.
