  2. Last time I did one of these I only predicted the Ducks would win by like twenty over another OSU, but that one was actually P4. Not to be confused with tOSU, the one in your conference. But this OSU is G6. They are terrible and Oregon has every reason to want to blow them out. My only concern is they might take the foot off the gas pedal because of the game next week. So I would pick a larger margin if I didn't feel Lanning wants to get his guys some rest heading into next week. Oregon goes up 42-0 in the first half. Dan puts in his backups and the Ducks end up winning 63-13. Beavis turns it over three times. The Ducks sack the Beavis QB four times. The Ducks pass for three hundred and ninety nine yards.
  3. GoDucks writer Rob Moseley gives 5 things to watch for during the game against Oregon State. University of Oregon Athletics5 Things To Watch: Oregon State - University of Oregon At...The Ducks host the Beavers in Autzen Stadium on Saturday (noon, Big Ten Network).
  4. I've never known the game as anything other than the civil war and never did see the connection to the carnage of 1861-1865. And truly, I know it is a rivalry game but if the 19th century civil war had been as one-sided as this year's game appears to be, it would have been over after the first battle of Bull Run (and there would have been no second).
  5. Ducks win 54 to minus 7 (Beavers so bad they score a negative touchdown) 2 TO 3 Sacks 179 pass yards
  6. 2027, and receiver? No problem...
  7. Rutgers looks smaller on defense, but has a pretty accurate QB. Iowa is rounding into form, but not many play-makers, IMHO.
  8. What I have learned from this thread is that the talking head experts know just about as much, or less, than anyone else.
  9. I have to admit this is news to me......his former commitment, I mean. Next man up.
  10. John Canzano....leading from behind since forever. Imagine being replaced by Aaron Fentress.
  11. Iowa up 38-28 after a pick and a couple of scores. Looks like the Hawkeyes will pull it off. OBD just has to play their game against both of these teams and they'll be fine, even on the road
  12. I don’t really follow Iowa football but man they really don’t seem to have any horses on offense… like at all.
  13. Oregon 52-7 2 TOs 4 sacks 245 yards passing
  14. A war? This is going to be like a fight between a yokuzuna sumo and a one hundred pound bookkeeper who thinks he can compete because he watched Dragonball on cartoon Network.
  15. And right on cue the Rutgers QB drops a beautiful go route in the bucket for a big gain. Between these two teams on the road, the Scarlet Knights look to be the bigger threat.
  16. Defenses have woke up but both O-lines have gone to sleep. Turning into one of those zombie style B1G 2nd tier games.
  17. Helfrich was hilarious in his critique of Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino’s throwing style as he was underhand and limp-wrist throwing t-shirts into the crowd.
  18. Ducks win 66-10 3 Turnovers 4 sacks 334 yds passing
  19. Kesean Bowman, a five-star 2027 receiver from Brentwood Academy, has decommitted from Oregon football, Bowman's mom, Moe, confirmed to The Tennessean. Bowman, who is being pursued by Tennessee football coach Josh Heupel, had been committed to the Ducks since July. Bowman, a 6-foot, 174-pound junior, was teammates at Brentwood Academy last season with former four-star quarterback and Tennessee freshman George MacIntyre. Bowman visited Knoxville for the Georgia game on Sept. 13 and told The Tennessean this week that he was planning other visits to Texas, LSU, Miami and Vanderbilt this fall. Bowman initially picked the Ducks over Tennessee, Ohio State and LSU. He is the No. 2 player in Tennessee from the 2027 class, No. 6 receiver nationally
  20. Two teams of interest to us OBD fans going at it on Fox Sports. 21-21 midway thru 2 qtrs. Neither team all that interested in playing defense and lots of PIs when they try. The Rutgers QB Kaliakmanis running a ton of RPO, pretty good arm and decent legs when he decides to take off. Iowa is still a variation of 4 yards and a cloud of rubber pellets on offense. Other than that, entertaining game. Mark Helfrich is doing the color analysis. Better OC than announcer, I'm afraid.
  21. I’m all for calling it the “War of Northern Aggression “ since Eugene is south of Corvallis.
  22. Oregon 59-3 2 TO 4 Sacks 225 yards passing (375 rushing)
