About as good of news as one could hope for after all the rumors and speculation since last night. This is a real gut check game due to opponent, weather and injuries. I think this is the type of game Lanning excels at motivating for. I hope to see some future leaders rise to the occasion. Go Ducks!

How about passing downfield instead of moronic bubble screens that are never blocked correctly?

I think we may likely need our defense to score a TD today in order to win this one.

I am confident that Gernorris Wilson can fill in at right tackle, and fortunately we have good receivers who are experienced in Bryant and Benson. Throw in McClellan, and you still have a formidable passing attack. Too bad Stewart is not available, but we can still score with these guys. We might see quite a bit of RBs out of the backfield exploiting questionable speed of Iowa linebackers. Hill, Whittington...could be a featured part of the game-plan now. Good that we have so many weapons...

With Harley and Sadiq out in more concerned about the run game they are both great run blockers.

Texas Tech tried to get a TD instead of a FG right before halftime inside BYU’s 10 yard line. They didn’t get it so it’s still 13-0. Let’s see if this comes back to bite them. Tech’s defense is awesome so I can see why they went for the TD.

Typical bye week hex. Defense will have to pitch a shutout. I don’t think the passing game was going to be really effective due to the weather, but now the threat isn’t even there if Sadiq sits out.

Penn St has a pretty bad QB so no explosive passes. Looks like a long 2nd half for Penn St.

I think DL will hold Dakorian out if he really is dinged up but can go. It’s going to be trench warfare due to the weather so he might be comfortable with McClellan taking his reps. I don’t know who would replace Harkey. My guess is Wilson.

This I a game we must win! If we can not beat Iowa, I find it unlikely we beat SC or Wash by enough to erase the stink. Hope Dak and Harkey are not hurt, but if so, we 'd still better win or we probably do not deserve being in playoff. Go Ducks!!!! Either we are real or we are not, not our fault the schedule is weak or Penn St quit, but the hand we are dealt. Beat Iowa in the miserable weather and our schedule looks a bit better and we might survive a rd loss to WA.
