  1. Past hour
  2. What a line up of teams going after him. Didn't know LSU was involved, but Kiffin still wants a say.
  3. Hey, Matt Campbell! You may be the last guy in line, but there could be some soup left? If you do aim to stay in Ames, do you know any quality flag football coaches? Your Buddy, Pat (I ain't that good at my) Kraft
  4. Not a good look for a guy trying to hire a high quality coach, but pink slips seem to be a fashionable choice this season... If Kraft is presenting PSU to prospective coach prospects and their agents the way he talks to their athletes, it makes sense why nobody is listening.
  5. I’ll go with my usual OC request: An under-the-radar, up-and-coming phenom that Dan Lanning has identified first.
  6. With as stacked as this offense is set to be for the next few years, he could bring in anybody he wants.
  7. If he’s cranky at 0-2, he should ask the fuskies what 0-12 feels like or he can just wait and find out for himself.
  8. Young Weiss would bring a distinct schematic advantage with him. 😁 Is his old man still receiving golden checks from the Domers?
  9. Pat, Duck! That pink thing coming at you is a slip! 🤪
  10. Those a good names. And if you like the Kiffin/Weiss offense, you could give Weiss a call. He’s been with Kiffin for a while, but three of Lanning’s coordinators have become HCs, and in the same amount of time, none of Kiffin’s have. Could be enticing. I’ll probably get some boos for this, but I don’t think Andy Kotelnicki wouldn’t be a bad hire. He’s getting a lot of crap for what’s going on at Penn State, but that whole operation fell off a cliff. His 2024 Penn State offense was good, and we know about his work at Kansas. I don’t think he was getting HC looks by accident.
  11. Oregon offensive line dominates All-Big-Ten squads, aims higherAutzen ZooOregon offensive line dominates All-Big-Ten squads, aims...The conventional wisdom is that it's impossible to mold a top-graded offensive line out of a group of transfers, but that's exactly what A'lique Terry did.
  12. Lanning breaks down the traits he is looking for "To me, it's about the ability to be humble, the ability to work with others and share a creative space, to realize it's not just yours, it's others ... " Lanning has been two-for-two in that process, and there's no reason he won't go three-for-three. Lanning breaks down traits for future offensive coordinator
  13. Sour grapes for sure. Before Oregon joined the Big Ten, Penn State was considered one of the top 3 programs in the conference. Oregon came in, beat them in the Big Ten Championship in our first year. Last year was "supposed" to be the year that Penn State finally ascended. Oregon crushed that. This year, Penn State was picked by some to be in the national title game. Players came back for another year to take care of "unfinished business ". Oregon went into their house and broke them. Oregon in one year showed Penn State how it's done. This man is laying all of the lost dreams of the last two years at the feet of Oregon. And guess what, we embrace that! Glad we could help!
  14. Today
  15. He's a good coach who has gone under the radar for a while now because he didn't jump ship from Iowa State the first chance he got. He'd be a good get for Penn State if it happens. I also wouldn't be surprised if he stays put.
  16. I watched a little bit of his film. He’s built like LMJ, but his receiving ability is reminiscent of Josh Huff. Chip would have definitely used him in the hybrid slot receiver/RB position.
  17. Holy crap. Five Rival’s 5-stars with a chance at 6, if Chris Henry, Jr. signs with Oregon and within sticking distance of the #1 recruiting class in the country. Anyone remember when we were over the moon if one 5-star signed with Oregon (and that only seemed to happen once every couple of years)? Any one of these young men would have been the cream of Oregon’s past recruiting classes... I cannot believe how much has changed at Oregon and now we can beat out Alabama, Ohio State, Georgia, LSU, Notre Dame, USC, et al for recruits from coast to coast. Congratulations to Coach Lanning and the entire staff. Someone mentioned that Oregon has signed the top recruit in ALABAMA for the second year in a row!!!
  18. Tradarian Ball RB from Texas being compared to a Duck RB legend from Texas. Oregon Ducks On SIOregon's 4-Star Running Back Tradarian Ball Sparks Compar...Oregon Ducks fans have many fond memories of watching former star running back LaMichael James during his college career. In his four seasons from 2008 to 2011,
  19. LOL. Jealous? Maybe he should look in the mirror. I can’t recall a coaching search going worse than the Penn State debacle. They fired their long time, highly successful coach early in the season and had no plan in place. Their search process has gone on way too long. None of their top candidates wanted the job. Now their new coach will face a whole missed high school recruiting class and have to focus on the portal to plug major holes in the roster for years to come. Maybe Penn State is not as attractive as you, your fans and boosters think it is…
  20. Campbell is reportedly Penn State’s new top target now. I’ll laugh if he signs an extension with Iowa Sate… https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/penn-state-matt-campbell-head-coach-iowa-state/
  21. Pat Kraft had a meeting with some of the PSU players to discuss a myriad of things to include their coaching search, NIL, recruiting, etc. One thing that kept coming up was Oregon. He took a jab at Dante Moore and said he was (expletive) shaking in overtime. When discussing teams who consistently compete for national championships he mentioned “Ohio State, Michigan, Alabama, Georgia and even Oregon, although I think they’re a bunch of frauds”. When discussing PSU’s remote location compared to other big name schools he said “Have you ever been to Oregon (Eugene)? Ain’t (expletive) going on. It’s but a bunch of (expletive) weirdos”. The subject of NIL and Nike/Phil Knight came up and he said “That’s why they’re frauds and will never win anything”. He basically thinks we buy rosters like A&M did a few years back, but then bragged about how much this season’s PSU roster cost. I’m sure Dan Lanning would love to use this information when he plays them next time, but I’m sure Pat Kraft will be jobless by then.
  22. I've seen three different reports on Henry. One says he's sticking with Ohio State. One says he's leaning towards Oregon, or USC. The third says Texas is offering him twenty Texas Steakhouse restaurants, a luxury condo somewhere in the islands, and Jerry Jones personal doctor that can make a human look like a life sized Ken doll.
  23. Well crap, the rumor is that Buster Faulkner is likely headed to Florida! This is terrible news! Buster would be at the top of my OC list for sure. It’s also rumored that UGA wanted Faulkner this past offseason, but we would only offer him a co-offensive coordinator position. I can’t blame him for turning that down. I hate to see him go to Gainesville though, he will do very well there and it makes me a bit 🤢🤮!!! I really wish Oregon could swoop in and steal him away. I think he would be a great fit in Eugene.
  24. I think I read Oregon had a 25 day layoff last year before tOSU (12/7 to 1/1). If Oregon gets a first round game, it still ends up being 21 days (11/29 to 12/20). If it gets a bye, it is going to be 33 days (11/29 to 1/1). As an Oregon fan I don't think it's good to have anything to do with 33 days. Going back to 2010, Oregon/Auburn faced the longest layoff between the end of a season and the final, 37 days (12/4 to 1/10). While entertaining, I'd argue the first half wasn't at all sharp by either team. At least both teams had to deal with it. In the case of this season, the bye teams coming off a layoff of 33 days face a team playing after 11 days off. I think there is again a good chance the bye teams all at least go into a first half hole. ASU (down 17-3) Oregon (down 34-8) Boise State (down 17-7) Georgia (down 13-3) It all looks pretty good right now for Oregon. I think most Duck fans already are pulling for Georgia, but I think it really doesn't want an Alabama win throwing a monkey in the wrench.
  25. People grow and people change. I'm not saying he's my first choice but I'm also sure that Lanning see way more than we ever will. And as I have zero input into who the OC will be... I'm cool with whoever Lanning picks. At least for now... But I am sure I'll be yelling at them via an article next year to run the ball more. I've done it for Lanning's first four years and I will plan on doing so in year five as well!
