He may get to play early in Chapel Hill, but he’s going to one of the dullest atmospheres I have ever experienced. Their stadium empties out at halftime no matter the score or the opponent. He was just figuring out how the college game worked before a surgery left him out for the following year and then he medically retired. Only to come back for some lackluster season at Oregon State. Sadly, I think the "lifelong fan" recruit is in the past. Just recently one of them picked a different school. That's fine, but why did the softball pitcher transfer to Texas Tech from Stanford? A million reasons come to mind. As long as the transfer portal exists, loyalty has never been more fleeting, it's "Show Me the Money" now.

That's certainly a holistic way of looking at it. We did in fact leave them with hundreds of millions that they didn't deserve! Now they will have to cough up a chunk of that for repaying MWC's favor with their shameful act.

Golf brings out the best and worst of some people. A private club is owned by the membership, and professional golfers are guests.
