Update on Evan Stewart?
They can run a lot of 12 and 13 formations and still stay balanced. Oregon can be the new Stanford.

Confidence or Curse? The ENTIRE GameDay Crew Picked Oregon...
I was surprised, but all five picked Oregon to win, and both Nick Saban and Kirk Herbstreit expressed respect for the USC offense, but felt that the Oregon defense had enough of an edge to prevail. Is that a great confidence boost, or the ultimate curse?

WEEK 13 (Gulp!) Committee Top 25 Games in a Nutshell
UNLV 9-2, gave Hawaii a 38-10 Aloha. UCLA? Bob Chesney, not Dan Mullen? Dan did well as HC of the Gators before getting sideways with a booster or 5 over recruiting issues before the portal and NIL arrived. He should be moving on up. Truck the Trojans!

Update on Evan Stewart?
I really hope E-Stew is back today given Dak and Gary Bryant are out; otherwise, Oregon may need to lean on the ground game to open up the passing game like last week.

They're Coming....to Our City! ESPN GameDay Returns to Eugene for Oregon vs. USC
Watching College Gameday in the Eastern Time zone. Why, oh why did they let Pat McAfee anywhere near the Duck, let alone drive the motorcycle? I feel violated by proxy.
-
Update on Evan Stewart?
Except in my mind this is a playoff game. Ducks will likely be without DAK, Bryant and Stewart today. And while Benson and J Mac continue to impress, it would really be nice to have two of the three injure guys on the field against a SC team that has lots of firepower.

Oregon Ducks Look to Break USC in High-Stakes Top 15 Showdown
Jordan, well written, well thought thru, well presented deep dive into this game and the teams. Basically, well done. You covered all the aspects needed for a Duck victory. If WS hadn't lost his mind, lost his direction and lost OBD's offensive identity in the 4th quarter against IU, well OBD's may very well be undeafeated. Since that painful loss WS has run the dang ball to wear down our opponents front 7 and open up the passing game. There is very little Troy can do to stop the run game. The trenches and clean play will settle this issue and leave no doubt in the minds of the CFP outdated and not needed committee! Go Ducks

Oregon Ducks Look to Break USC in High-Stakes Top 15 Showdown
Wow! Excellent writing Jordan. Your wordsmith ability shines in today's article. "...concern, mostly irrational, that Oregon won’t show up to play; that the Trojans will walk into Autzen and pants Lanning, schmooze the cheerleaders and serenade a group of visiting recruits..." Thankfully your conclusion will be written by the Ducks on the field of play, "Today is the day Oregon buries the Trojans under a volcanic heap of talent, process, and execution, erasing their opponent’s playoff dreams like the lost civilization at Pompeii. Go. Ducks."

Oregon Ducks Look to Break USC in High-Stakes Top 15 Showdown
For the first time in a decade, the Ducks and Lil’ Troy Boys will meet as ranked opponents with conference and College Football Playoff positioning on the line when No. 7 Oregon hosts No. 15 USC on Saturday at Autzen Stadium. The Ducks (9-1, 6-1 Big Ten) and Trojans (8-2, 6-1) enter in a three-way tie with Michigan for third ... Oregon Ducks Look to Break USC in High Stakes Top 15 Showdown

Update on Evan Stewart?
Let the backups play until the playoffs. Ducks shouldn't need the injured starters to play to win.

I didn't know they still had fans... I thought they were all into Taylor Swift? USC becomes more and more irrelevant every year.

This is our 12th game day since USC's last Game Day appearance in 2016. Absolutely hurts them that we've been relevant and they haven't. I hope Charles stops by their message board after the game if we win. Although maybe it will be quiet if we clearly play as the better team.

Penn State Targeting DeBoer
More central, but close Jon. I don't claim Miami or Tallahassee ( even if I did attend college at the latter). John Candy is a very underrated comedic genius imo. I enjoyed his subtle facial expressions over Sam Kinnison, or Chris Farley. Like John, I think a more subtle personality like DeBoer would thrive at Penn State. They have high expectations, but it's not at the fevered pitch of an SEC madhouse like Tuscaloosa. Seriously, people want him on the hot seat after losing to Oklahoma. They think it's a given that whoever is the coach at Alabama, should win a title every other year. They tend to forget what life was like before Saban. Just like LSU folks tend to forget that before Saban won a title in '03(split with USC) that they hadn't ever won a legitimate National Title. The SEC tends to live in a tiny bubble. They refuse to see that the perceived superiority is nothing but an ESPN illusion. There's a reason why Lane Kiffin isn't signing an extension like Cignetti or Elko. Ole Miss is running at it's optimum. It's not sustainable. They don't have the real money, or resources to maintain the level they are at. Eventually the transfer cushion will deflate, and Ole Miss will fall back on their thirty first rated classes. At LSU, you have a situation involving all matters of madness. At Florida, there isn't a school president currently, and many top boosters want Stricklin gone. I personally would sign a LeBron James deal if I were Lane. But he's likely looking at this as his moment to be the top name. Next year his team could lose five games and he's an afterthought.

Update on Evan Stewart?
I think Dak is the only one that is a maybe to play. Pretty sure Stewart is out ... might get him for a playoff game if we are lucky. Gary Bryant is probably out for another week at least.
